Traditional pub with lots of rooms and a good outdoor space. Expect plenty of cask and keg beer from breweries across the country at good prices. Good sandwiches at the bar too.

Such an accommodating host and hostess. I had a few drinks with colleagues after work last night and we were able to have our takeaway delivered in to eat in the pub. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This place is quite 'olde worlde' but has a good atmosphere and less pretentious than some places in and around Kelham Island. More...

Always a good beer, always a good price. You don't get in the top ten nationally without always being good. If you like a beer and your new to sheffield make it your first stop. Once you have the taste the world is your oyster as your on the kelham island doorstep which is now the mecca of enjoyment for both food and beer/wine/cocktails. More...
