Chantelle was amazing. From the minute of walking into the shop right through until my wedding day she couldn’t have been more helpful. When trying on the dresses she was able to work out what I wanted and what aspects of myself I wasn’t confident with to help me find the perfect dress. She gave me lots of time and let me go back a few times before buying the dress to make sure it was the right one. All my fittings were great and her seamstress was lovely. She even adjusted my bridesmaid dress as well which took some of the stress out of finding someone to do it for me. WOW WOW WOW! The whole experience of buying my wedding dress from Chantelle at Shakespeare in Love was just amazing from start to finish. From the moment you walk in the shop Chantelle greets you with a big smile on her face and makes you feel really comfortable and at ease. There were so many styles to choose from and even though i knew what i wanted, Chantelle was helpful in helping me pick out different things to try on. In the end she picked out a dress that on the hanger i thought 'ooh gosh no, i'm not a fan' and it was only when i saw my self in the mirror that i fell in love with THE dress. Just goes to show that she has a good eye for these things. Chantelle wasn't pushy at all in her sales pitch either, she even encouraged me to go and try other dresses first as she understands that once a bride knows, she knows! Buying the dress was one thing, but then the fittings and changes we made to the dress was just as easy... i changed the neckline on my dress which most places would just say no to but Chantelle straight away checked to see if it was possible and it was! Some shops i went to i felt pressured to buy or i didn't feel that welcome but with Chantelle it felt like visiting an old friend and now i'm pleased that we keep in contact and my coach company even helped her with her wedding by supplying her with her coach for all her guests! Chantelle made choosing, buying and fitting for my dress such a wonderful experience. The shop is full of gorgeous dresses in different shapes and designs by a select range of designers; I was completely spoiled for choice, my dress is a beautiful beaded, Maggie Sottero, with a full skirt and train called Bellissima and is one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen (even If I do say so myself!!) I was fitted with the help of the lovely and talented Selina who made my dress fit like a glove and personalised it by changing the belt, I was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was so fun and enjoyable I was made to feel very special. I also bought my beautiful veil and head piece form Chantelle's stunning range of veils and accessories.

My mother and I had found Shakespeare in love after driving home from a budget out of town outlet shop that had left me feeling pretty down, scratchy lace, poor hemlines, sad dresses rushed in and out of fitting rooms full of other brides. We had popped into Stratford on our way home for lunch to cheer ourselves up and so that the journey wouldn't be a complete waste, we walked passed the window which was full of some of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen and we just knew that was the shop for us! To go from that stressful shopping experience to one that felt so luxurious and special was like dark to light and I truly learned that you can't put a price on quality. I had the best experience from start to finish with Chantelle (and Selena with my fittings). The first shop I went to and the only one, as I found the most perfect dress for me 'Sandy' by Sincerity. It was the first one I tried on and despite trying on others 'just to make sure', I kept going back to 'the one'. I loved every minute of the whole process and felt completely at ease during the whole thing. I had complete confidence in Chantelle and Selena and never felt any stress or pressure, just had a complete ball! Couldn't recommend Shakespeare in Love Wedding boutique highly enough! Chantelle is absolutely incredible. I had visited two other bridal shops the day I went to Shakespeare in love and she was by far the best. Chantelle put me at absolute ease, listened to me, understood and pulled some great dresses for me to try. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all in fact I was pushing myself to make a decision and Chantelle was the one slowing me down. She found me the perfect dress and gave me absolute confidence in my choice. That was just the start - the various fittings that followed were great as well Chantelle has a great eye for detail, seeks perfection and really wants the best for her brides. Loved her so much I went back for the bridesmaids dresses - after a failed attempt elsewhere I got straight in touch with Chantelle to rescue me. We changed them up a bit as well and Chantelle was great with that, helped me to get an idea of what they would look like and suggested various ideas for me to choose. Chantelle was so lovely and helpful! I had previously seen a Maggie Sottero dress I liked at the NEC Wedding Show and Chantelle arranged to have a sample in store for me to try on as well as suggesting other dresses to try! My whole experience was amazing from start to finish through choosing accessories and getting my alterations done. The store has a beautiful dressing area on the second floor with plenty of room for my Mum and bridesmaid to watch on! I planned my wedding in 3 months, which was very easy EXCEPT the dress. A lot of stores guided me to the sale rail and explained I could not have most in the store as they were on a 16 week order time. Super. The bell ringing when a sale was made at one of the big stores in Birmingham sent me running in to the arms of Shakespeare in Love. What a stroke of luck! From day one, being so nervous about my dress, not knowing what I wanted and zero confidence in how I look; Chantelle made the whole process look easy. No pressure to buy, an extensive choice of dresses/gowns in various price points, evening appointments and one on one assistance made me feel at ease and excited about my big day. If you're looking for a bespoke service which you would not expect to find outside of London then I cannot recommend Shakespeare in Love enough. Thank you Chantelle. I can not recommend this place enough ! From picking the dress through to collecting after the post wedding clean the service is amazing. They have such a wide range of dresses and accessories. I picked a strapless dress but I wanted sleeve Chantelle came up with a fabulous idea to have a bolero made in matching lace. With the little touches the dress was amazing and Selina the seamstress ... her work is impeccable and like nothing I have ever seen !!!!! Both are warm and really easy to get on with ..... and make you feel so relaxed and really listen to what you want ! Where to even begin! Chantelle made every step of my wedding dress shopping experience magical! From the first time I entered the shop to when I dropped off my wedding dress to be cleaned Chantelle has made me feel like the only bride in the world! She is a true professional and she shares the journey with you. She is just as excited as you are about your wedding day! Selena the seamstress is very knowledgable and fitted the dress perfectly. She made me feel confident and comfortable, and even sewed my name in it for my something blue! After my wedding day Chantelle went the extra mile and got my wedding dress cleaned and ready for me within days as we had a party to celebrate with friends. She even picked it up from my mums house! Chantelle is fantastic. Her advice and guidance from my first visit to the shop right up until my last fitting was above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Wedding dress shopping is so hard but Chantelle's patience and input on style and what suits makes it a breeze. What can I say, this Bridal boutique is amazing. This was the second place I looked for a wedding dress and the service was fantastic. Chantelle is such a nice, bubbly, friendly person and really knows her stuff when it comes to wedding dresses.

From choosing my dress on the first day I met Chantelle to picking my dress up a few days before my wedding she was great, I felt so comfortable throughout everything and even when I chose a strapless dress but wanted some sleeves nothing was too much trouble.

Chantelle, the owner, is so lovely and amazing, and she has such a unique variety of dresses in her boutique. I met her originally at a wedding fair at Walton Hall, and was so taken by her friendly personality, knowledge and positivity that I came returned from London a second time to visit her boutique. Her boutique is a little treasure trove, and she suggested I try on a stunning Maggie Sottero dress which I hadn't seen when choosing dresses to try on, but I felt so special once it was on that felt it could be THE ONE. Chantelle took some photos of me in the dress so that I could show my Mother later that evening, and then I returned the following morning with my mother in tow to try the dress on again. She was patient, helpful, suggested accessories (a beautiful feather bolero to keep me warm in between ceremony and reception etc), and made the whole experience exciting and fun. I chose the dress not only because it was absolutely incredible (and made me feel like a princess!), but because Chantelle is one of the kindest and friendliest person I've ever met, she is ever so passionate about her boutique and the designers she stocks, and I have full confidence in buying a dress through her.
