Hands down one of the most fun nights we've had in NYC.  We saw this Dueling Pianos show years ago, and it's even better now.  Something about Rattle & Hum lends itself to this intimate, yet funny show.The food is quite tasty for a Times Square pub, and the staff kept our glasses full (and with 100+ people around, that was surprising!).Sean rocked the fiddle (make sure you request Devil Went Down to Georgia, and see for yourself!), and Mark was as funny as we remember.We went for a birthday, and had our friend brought up for a "VIP song".  It was worth every penny.For the newbies, yes, every song costs money, but hey - so do the burgers and beers.  That's dueling pianos.  We wouldn't have it any other way! Shake Rattle N Roll Pianos played our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks event the night before our wedding in the Poconos this summer, and they brought the party! (Which we knew they would, having seen them at last year's Holiday Train Show at the NYBG.) They played more mellow music during dinner, and then got the party really going later on when more guests came to the venue for welcome drinks. Everyone loved making requests - from our great aunts and uncles to our baby cousins - and the guys played everything from Billy Joel to Kelly Clarkson to "Baby Shark" (for a few seconds, just to get one of our shy baby cousins to smile, which he definitely did!). They are super talented and funny and had all of our friends and family singing and dancing. At the end of the rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks, most of our friends told us they had such a good time that they were worried about what a high bar we set for our wedding the next day! More...

My wife and I were in NY for the weekend and our Saturday night Broadway show was cancelled due to the blackout. We were bummed but decided to try and make the best of it and went to SRnR for the dueling pianos. They were great! We had a blast and the guys had everyone up singing dancing all night. The most talented piano players ever; with an incredible ability to play any song you challenge them too.  They also have a great sense of humor in their show; and know how to interact with the crowd to get everyone out of their seats singing and dancing. Saw Dueling Pianos for a show in Manhattan over a year ago and they absolutely killed it. Decided to reach out to Mark and expressed interest in having them for our wedding. Despite it being a year later Mark stayed in touch with us and communication was frequent but not pushy. Fast track to July and they arrived on time with all equipment necessary. Played great music during cocktail hour and shut it down for the actual reception. Kept guest entertained and it was nothing short of what we saw from the first performance. I experienced Shake, Rattle, n Roll Pianos as part of a group event at Rattle n' Hum West in NYC.   The pianists were hilarious and willing to play everything from The Beatles to Lady Gaga.  I didn't get to hear my song requests because I forgot to get cash out to bid higher, but I still really enjoyed my time here.  I'm definitely going to keep this in mind for future birthday get-togethers! My lovely wife and I saw this AMAZING piano playing duo at a cool bar/lounge in Peekskill, NY, "The Hudson Room".I think this was their first time venturing forth this far North out of NYC, but they just killed it the Friday Night we were there! They had the entire place singing and laughing and many folks, like us, got up to dance more than once.We went as a couple and had a blast, but there were a lot of groups all around us having just as much fun as we did.And age really doesn't seem to matter, the old folks were having just as much fun as the young folks, and you don't see that enough these days.They played strictly 'Requests' so that guaranteed a nice variety of tunes.If you need to blow off some steam, go and drink more than you should, singing a little, laugh a lot, dancing a little, and have a great time! After my sister saw them perform in NYC she was hooked, so we booked them for her 50th birthday party.  Matt and Brian were fantastic, really energetic, very talented.  Aside from the two pianos, they broke out a guitar, a harmonica and even a ukulele!  Mark, the owner, was great to work with as well. I have to throw out a disclaimer first.  I love piano bars.  I went with a bunch of people and we had an amazingly good time.  The crowd that night was so super engaged and there were a lot of great singers.  I was too intimidated to do it myself, but it didn't stop me from enjoying everything.  It was a phenomenal way to spend my Saturday night and I had so much fun.  I can't believe how many good singers were there that night. If I could I would give them 10 stars! I hired Mark for my company holiday party and they KILLED it. I was a little nervous because our group was slightly on the smaller side, but that definitely didn't make a difference. They played to our audience perfectly and every had an amazing time. So much so that people came up to me right after and said we need them back for next year. We are literally still talking about how great they were. OMG! Mark played at my daughter's bridal shower last week. He and Casey rocked the house! Everybody was standing, clapping and dancing to the music. Rattle N Hum - Saturday Nights - Dueling Pianos show. What a find in Times Square whether you reserve with a group or go in with some friends. The talented pianists and drummer keep the crowd engaged with song requests (wrapped in $5s, $10s, $20s and more) and take $s to stop a song, too. They also will do toasts and roasts for $. The admission varies based on seating. Bring extra $$ with you so you can partake in having your favorite songs performed. Musically, the talented performers sing the favorite sing-a-longs and some you would not expect to hear at a piano bar. They are witty, and make the night so much fun. The song selections are only outdone by the bar that has so many beer options that tap decorations and beer advertisements make up the decor of the entire bar. This is a fun, amazing way to spend the night. The show started at 10pm and we left at 1am. Tickets should be bought in advance as reservations sell out. Seating is determined by your reservation level. There were lots of bridal party and birthday party groups celebrating. We look forward to returning soon to hear more. More...

Saw these guys at Rattle n Hum West this past weekend, and they were hilarious! Played so many crowd requests with ease and humor, put everyone in a good mood, and even knew the song "1-877-Kars-4-Kids" when my fiance requested it to replace the dreaded "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights". If you've never seen a dueling pianos show (and I hadn't until now), it's a great mix of comedy, popular music, drunken behavior, and dancing. So fun, and these hosts were personable and talented. I had my birthday party at Rattle & Hum West which housed the Shake Rattle and Roll group. Everyone from the event staff to the restaurant staff were so so pleasant to work with leading up to the night. Most of my friends had never been to a dueling piano bar so I was excited to introduce them to the fun! The pianists were extremely talented, and it was everything you would expect. The only issues were that half my party was facing the opposite direction. It would have been better to have one of the high top tables so we could face each other and still see. Rookie mistake on my part. Another issue was that the music was EXTREMELY loud, like it was impossible to talk to someone beside you at times. And lastly, the fault is not with Shake Rattle and Roll, but with the Rattle & Hum.. our waitress was honestly pretty absent throughout the night. We tried to order bottles of wine for the table, plus several drinks at different times, but we couldn't even get her attention. I think that was really disappointing, these types of shows are a little more enjoyable with liquid courage. I would still go again! More...

I had my 30th bday at Rattle & Hum via the Shake Rattle and Roll crew this past Saturday. I wouldn't have changed a thing, my friends and I had the most fun. They allowed us to rent an entire room for a big group (~50 people) so we had a private space while still tapping into all of the fun in the main performing area.Mark and Sean are such talented musicians and played a good mix of oldies, 90s, and even some Bieber. The highlight was when they played"No Scrubs" and started rapping hamilton on top of it. We ended the night with bottles of champagne and a jumping dance party to "Shout," like we were closing out a wedding.
