Scott and his team have done two major projects for me...first was relocating washer and dryer and all plumbing and venting. Also a new hot water heater and water filtration system. My second project was installation of a generator to power my entire house, re-route gas lines, move electric panel and upgrade service. What an excellent job for both projects! I have been using SG Heating, since 2012 as the primary service for my infrastructure projects and maintenance. Thus far, Scott and his team have done three major installations, aside from the periodic maintenance of my heating and AC. The projects were a whole house generator, water heater and a replacement furnace and AC.All of these projects were done in a professional and timely manner. Scott has a very good installation and support team that knows what they are doing and takes the time to answer questions about the work that they are doing.What I find unique about Scott and his team is that he does not oversell his customer. He will "right size" the solution, meaning that it will be the most effective and efficient for the problem at hand. I’ve been working with Scott and his team for 13 years. He took great care of me at my old house, so when our new home needed a full system , soup to nuts, SG was the only way to go. Tim planned and installed our whole-house heat pump system. The installation was expertly done with no problems. His service has been excellent thus far. Anytime I had a question and whether it be asked via email or phone call I always got a prompt response. Very knowledgeable. SGHAC is an amazing company. I had a standby generator installed at my home that involved tremendous coordination and planning on the part of SGHAC. They took care of it all! From the planning, the permits, the electric work, the gas work and even patching up walls inside my home after the work was done. They also cleaned up after themselves every day. The generator works like a charm, and the visual appearance of the generator shows that a lot of thought and effort were put into the work. It looks clean and streamlined in my backyard.
After witnessing all of the work and planning that went into the installation, I feel certain of the price I paid. It was a fair price. In addition, the people who did the work were friendly, and I felt safe having them in my home. Scott, who owns the company, responded to all of my calls quickly. He is very reasonable and kind, too. Central Air Conditioning Installation
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have worked with Scott and the SGHAC team for our central air install. During our consultation meeting, Scott gave us an overview of the product we were looking to install (a mini split system). While surveying our home, he offered his opinion with regards to a whole house central air system. He did not pressure us towards the latter, which is more involved and more expensive, but he laid out the facts and benefits of each option and allowed us to come to a decision as to what would be best for us. Education was key, and Scott helped us make an informed educated decision, and we ultimately decided to go with the whole house central air option. We have NO regrets about this decision.

The install was very involved, as our home did not have any existing ductwork. This is where SGHAC excels, in planning, designing and implementing a custom solution that would work optimally for our home. The team came each morning on time and ready to work. They protected the work area and cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving (my wife would come home from work each day and ask, “did they do any work?”, expecting a mess or at least some sign of construction).

The hot weather is just now starting, and we say, “bring it on!” The system is very quiet and efficiently cools our home. Our upstairs and downstairs have separate thermostats, so we’re able to control the zones to our preferences and when we’re home. No more pesky window units that are clunky, energy hogs and damage our windows.

We would, in a heartbeat, recommend SGHAC to any of our friends and family. We firmly believe this was a quality investment and we chose the right team to do the job.

We had minisplits installed in our house, which had no AC and an ancient oil boiler for heating. Due to the layout of the house, minisplits were the best option for getting both AC and heat in one system. In addition, minisplits have the added benefit of individual temperature control for each room. SGHA kept the schedule they promised, worked hard and cleaned up after the job. The employees were super friendly and put the units up according to our wishes. One unit was not functioning after the install and they came out right away to fix that.
In short, if you need a professional job done, you can trust this company to do a great job, on schedule, according to your needs and wishes and at a competitive price. More...

Scott the owner is great. About seven years ago It was a Sunday and it was freezing, and my furnace wasn't working. I called my neighbor and she recommended Scott and SG heating. He came right away and fixed my furnace. I had not had a problem all this time. When Scott and his crew say that they treat you like family they really mean it.Tim. Jay and Louis who installed my new furnace and air conditioning last week were wonderful. They didn't rush and explained everything to me. It was actually a very pleasant experience.
