We recently changed Grounds Maintenance providers from a leading national brand, who’d had fallen short of our clients very high standards several times and employed the services of Sewell hammonds Grounds Maintenance. The management team came out on the same day we enquirer and discussed our needs at length, before going away and preparing a bespoke management plan for each of our clients properties.We’ve heard nothing but good reviews from our clients since the change and have audited several sites to verify the level of service. I asked Sewell hammonds grounds care to look at a few lawns on properties my company has developed. The lawn where full of weeds, moss and had large dead patches despite us trying off the shelf additives and herbicides. The service provided by Sewell Hammonds Grounds Care has been faultless. We are always kept up to date and well informed of when they will arrive and what work or treatments will be undertaken. The cost is very reasonable, even when adding additional work on outside of our maintenance contract. I have now used SewellHammonds at three different properties. At my latest property they rescued a dying lawn that I inherited with the purchase of the house. The guys that turn up are always on time, very polite and friendly. The company isn't shy on giving advice, even advising on the best ways to maintain the lawn myself, proving to my husband and i that it is more concerned about customer satisfaction than its profit margins.We previously employed a well known large national franchise to maintain our Lawns. We now pay much less for the same if not better service and have been very impressed with the timeframe in which these guys turned around what was once a very scruffy and unloved garden and lawn. I would like to say a huge thank you to the owner and employees of this company for supplying and spreading grit salt FREE OF CHARGE during the recent bad weather. I witnessed employees spreading grit from the back of four wheel drive vehicles and tree surgery trucks around the elderly sheltered accommodation in Accrington where my Mother is a resident.I was later told they had also offered up the use of their vehicles to those with hospital Andy doctor said appointments.Great work guys the world needs more folks like this. Had these guys round today for a bit of advice about a large tree in my back garden. The gentleman that came out initially was very polite and professional and a wealth of information. To cut a long story short, based on the information given I chose to have the tree removed. The guys that came out to remove the tree did an excellent job and whats more they even took time out of their day to let my 13 year old autistic son try on their climbing helmets and climbing harnesses.Really cannot thank them enough.
