I recently completed the retail makeup artistry course with Seventa Makeup Academy. The team is brilliant and I feel like I've come away with so many valuable skills. The course is in-depth and covers everything you will need to go into a job in the retail environment. If you are looking to go into a makeup-based retail job, I would highly recommend this course.I have since worked with Seventa Makeup Academy on a few projects and would highly recommend them to work with, as I've had such enjoyable experiences. I had a fantastic couple of hours with my daughter in a private lesson with Linda learning makeup tips. It's a great way to learn the basics by watching then applying yourself (or in my case my daughter applying my foundation as well as her own). Linda was great at answering our questions and de mystifying. The products are lovely and you can see what you've used on a tablet and then buy to try at home (with a discount which is even better). Loved this session - made it all look so easy, and we found out that actually it's much easier than you think!! Juan is great instructor. He is extremelly knowledgable but fun and friendly at the same time. The way he teaches is very relaxed, so you end up experimenting with new things until you achieve the look which makes you happy. Highly recommend.

I attended the course over the weekend and really enjoyed learning a lot of great hints and tips. The class was small and perfected tailored to suit each attendees tastes and skin tones. Linda and Geoff were fabulous and I felt able to ask perhaps silly questions about serums, spots and everything in between! When this is compared to the condescending tones taken by some advisers from the big beauty counters, it provided a refreshing experience and I which was truly helpful for my daily skincare regime. A brilliant experience. Linda and Jeffrey are great and Linda's way of showing how to look after your skin and apply makeup is genius. We both learnt loads about what works for us and how to apply seamless and blended makeup. Would love to do it again

This was the first make-up course I've ever attended. Nice to be told 7 was the maximum number of people per class. This was how many people there were in my class, so our teacher was able to cater to everyone's questions and needs. Good basic level - perfect for a beginner like me and it was nice to meet like-minded people! Also great to have now gained direct access to the brand's claim to products "for professionals". The only addition I would have liked to have included in the course would have been some advice on how to choose colour for different (formal/informal) occasions, to suit my skin type. More...

I very rarely wear make up so once I attended the 3 hour course, I became a pro. It was a lovely experience and the make up artist went through things slowly and kept my look subtle and I was complimented by friends as I had a wedding straight after.

I went with my friend to the make up master class. We booked it through wowcher. It was really good value for money. The lady teaching us was really lovely. We learned so much. From removal of make up and skin prep, to a full face of make up. We learned how to do a Smokey eye and how to contour also. It was really informative. I would really recommend it. I am a returning body painted model for the second year in a row, this time as a representative of an LGBT group myself and friends created called the LDNGaymers! Thanks to the amazing team of makeup artists and my friends within the sevnta image academy who made it possible for us to be painted, we were able to represent and stand out from The crowd and show the world what we are about! After recently working as part of the fantastic team that is 'Seventa' I can honestly say I am 'still' on a high ! ... These guys really know how to do events ! ... Not only did they put an amazing team together full of Body Painters , Hairstylists and Make up artists ...of which I was honoured to be on but they also looked after every single one of us at every event , They kept us very well informed of what was expected and our well being was most definately put first ! ..
