Excellent trainer! My dog Chewy is the most stubborn dog but somehow he was able to train him. He's a totally different dog now!

Best dog trainer in WA I've went to multiple different trainers about my stubborn German Shepard. No other trainer I went to could tame my beast of a dog. My dog doesn't pull me on walk no more and he LISTENS to my commands after a couple sessions with him! More...

My dogs each had their own set of issues I wanted to break through, but most of all I wanted them to be a team and be respectful of each other. Chris out did himself. My dogs come home in a few days and every day I’m there I constantly see better balanced and happier dogs, plus their overall obedience is 100% better! I was originally only going to do 1 week of board and train, but they did so well I decided to extend to 2 weeks. Worth every penny! I am beyond thankful for the time and effort Chris has put into my dogs, I could never say thank you enough for giving them and me the tools to succeed. I highly recommend Dog Control Training. He gives you skills and knowledge right away. You don’t feel taught or trained on something and dismissed. This guy has changed a simple walk from a battle field to a calm enjoyable experience. My boys are happy too.

I have searched and searched for a Trainer. Either the cost was too far out of my budget or their videos were crazy, or what they offered made no sense. I went out on a limb to meet a stranger near dusk in a park. Best choice ever! I am excited to work with Chris. In minutes he gained control and minutes later I had control!!! I did not expect to walk away with a skill after the first meeting. He explains things in a way that you listen, and has you do it. Highly recommend. More...

we worked with other trainers and were either turned down because of our dog’s aggression or given one set of tools without many other options. we boarded ollie with chris for a month and it was worth every penny. i used to be afraid to walk ollie in fear that he would hurt someone else or end up getting hurt himself. we didn’t have people over to our apartment because of how he would react. after 4 weeks of dog (and probably more important, handler) training, i now feel confident that i can manage ollie in all types of situations. chris truly changed our lives and ollie’s life for the better! Chris is beyond amazing. I boarded my Doberman with him for a month and with in two days I noticed a difference. Chris takes the time to not only train your pet but to also help you understand how to stay in control. His technique is perfect for those who don’t like to yell repeatedly at their pets. Chris’ training has made my experience as a pet owner much more enjoyable thanks to his training. More...

I spent months interviewing and searching for the right trainer for my dog, Roscoe and me. I am a combat medic veteran with 4 Traumatic Brain Injuries and severe PTSD. Roscoe was 3, almost 4 when we started training him. All other trainers I met with were apprehensive on him becoming a service dog because of some issues he had in the past with aggression. When I met Chris for the first time to do our initial assessment, he told me within 30 minutes that Roscoe had the potential to be an incredible service dog. He adapted to Chris within minutes and we were signed up for 3 weeks of a "board and train". After getting him back from his 3 week training, I had a different dog. Chris continues to stay in contact with me and do continuous training with Roscoe and I to perfect his training. I cannot recommend Chris enough. Real life dog whisperer. More...

Chris is amazing! Just one session in and he’s already given me tools to help better control my reactive GSD/Pit. He is extremely confident and knowledgeable which shows when he’s working with your dog. He’s the only person that has agreed to help us knowing that my (large) dog has bitten in the past and is already getting us results! I am extremely comfortable working with him and most importantly my dog is too. I would recommend him to anyone, especially people needing help correcting aggressive behavior. Definitely looking forward to continuing to work with him. More...

As a combat medic and Lioness in OIF I was injured with TBI's which resulted in severe PTSD. Chris trained my dog to become my service dog with passion, structure, knowledge, and integrity. I interviewed and trained with several other dog trainers in the Greater Puget Sound area and Chris is by far the greatest. More...
