Questo è possibile grazie all'intuizione di Lorraine, la giovane fondatrice del sito, che, attraverso la sua precedente esperienza di insegnamento e alla sua capacità imprenditoriale, ha saputo mettere insieme un team di giovani insegnanti madrelingua, estremamente dinamici, preparati e competenti, che riescono a rendere facile e divertente l'apprendimento di una lingua, ostica soprattutto per noi italiani, grazie ad un approccio confidenziale ed amichevole. Lorraine, Linda, Gemma, Jen e Tom, con una lezione di prova online su Skype, vi conosceranno direttamente, valuteranno il vostro grado di preparazione, ascolteranno le vostre esigenze e sapranno proporvi un piano di studio fatto su misura per voi, secondo le vostre reali necessità. Sulla base del piano di studio potrete acquistare una o più lezioni, che possono essere tenute entro un anno dalla data di acquisto. Siete voi che decidete quando, dove è come fare le lezioni, prenotando anche in ore e giornate diverse una dall'altra. Le lezioni sono individuali ed è possibile scegliere intervalli di tempo di 30, 60 o 90 minuti. Alla fine di ogni lezione l'insegnante vi invierà un resoconto delle principali frasi ed espressioni imparate e l'audio con la corretta pronuncia delle stesse. Questo è , a mio avviso un ulteriore valore aggiunto, in quanto è possibile ripassare ed ascoltare in ogni momento gli appunti della lezione. Il sito web è in continua evoluzione: da ottobre è possibile iscriversi ad un forum dove ognuno può comunicare con gli altri membri di svariati argomento. Da novembre sarà anche possibile accedere a corsi modulari, realizzati per chi volesse imparare l'inglese in modo indipendente. I costi sono più che onesti, soprattutto se rapportati alla qualità dei servizi offerti. Sono anche disponibili sconti se si acquistano uno o più pacchetti da 10 lezioni. Hi Lorraine, or as I prefer to call you, My splendid teacher. First of all, it's rare for me to evaluate or recommend people, but this time I shall express my sincere appreciation toward what Lorraine has done for me. I have been taking courses with Lorraine Since 2017. I am such a busy man who has a lot of responsibilities and decided to learn English via an online course. So I had started to contact a lot of teachers until I found Lorraine (it took about 3 months until I found the person who can work with me as well. I am very pleased with my decision to study with Lorraine since I found her so professional, motivated, organized, and supportive. I find it easy to handle my lessons through her website as it gives me flexibility to reschedule or change the time of lessons because often I become busy and things come up. Also, I can find amazing blogs on the website which can help me improve my language and culture. I am a person who is involved in diverse activities such as management, science, travelling and business and Lorraine has supported me through all of those activities. She taught me English for business, how to write scientific research, how to present, general English with reading, speaking, listening and writing. She is such a cultured person who can discuss with her a lot of different topics which make her a great teacher. Lorraine is a supportive person since she always helped me by changing the lesson time several times because she understood my position and responsibilities. I can feel my language has improved and she has made me a confident person to speak with people without any fear. What do you love most about your job?
My teachers and I share the same passion for helping people to achieve their goals. The ability to express oneself in English is the key that unlocks so many other goals for our students, and we love to help them open the door.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Intrepid English in 2013 after teaching English in Germany for several years. The demand for online English lessons has grown since then and now I employ 6 wonderful teachers who share my passion for empowering others through teaching English.
