What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to help clients grow their businesses using creativity, enthusiasm and knowhow. I particularly enjoy bringing the experience of Delt team members to bear for a client, managing the job and taking the worry off clients' shoulders. As a small business owner myself, I understand the associated workload and worries - being able to take some of that stress away for a client is rewarding. I am also driven by taking the basics of good PR, assessing what a client needs and pushing the boundaries of what is possible for that client, using new technologies and techniques to ensure our work catches the eye of those we want to attract.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw that public relations was too dominated by big companies that had large overheads and consequent large fees but which did not necessarily listen to or deliver for their clients. I felt there was a place for a more flexible business which put the interests of the client first rather than the interests of an agency's often unwieldy corporate structure. As the focus on digital and the online world increases, public relations, public affairs and communications agencies have to be nimble and completely focused on their client's needs if they are to survive and prosper. I believe we do bring all this together under one roof and it is gratifying to have seen the ideas we had at the outset of the business come to fruition.

We don't over promise, we don't overcharge and we treat clients as we would like to be treated ourselves. Our clients work with us because they know we will be honest and straight with them. We want to build long term and productive relationships with our clients and for them to see us as part of their team because this is what works best for both sides.
