Initially, I was pleased with Stephen, however, yesterday (out of nowhere) I received an email from them: "SEMILLIAM - PRICE INCREASE.
...must increase your pricing to ------ with immediate effect"
Called them - I tried to reiterate what was agreed with Stephen - they weren't even bothered.

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Sole trader accounts, self assessment tax returns, VAT, Payroll including auto enrolment pensions, CIS returns, statutory limited company accounts, corporation tax returns, and Confirmation Statements. Rent and Mortgage application references too. We also provide free cloud based accounting software for those clients that want to use it (Quickbooks)
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
"Tax does not need to be taxing". But it is. There is a real danger of not claiming tax deductions and paying too much tax.
A great accountant looks after you and your business, leaving you to concentrate on what's important to you.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people. No one likes dealing with accounts and with tax. We do! and get a real buzz when we know we've helped someone sleep better at night.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing so many friends with their own small businesses getting so little help from existing accountants who both over charged and did not seem to care about their clients. I wanted to work for myself and in something that I knew would help others too.
