y neighbor used Secure Roofing and Solar and during their project I heard a loud cracking sound. When I went to my backyard, I found several pieces of broken tile on the floor and several scratches to my brand-new ac unit. I called my neighbor to firstly get one of the Secure Roofing and Solar workers to clean up the pieces of broken tile. When the worker arrived, I told him that this was unprofessional and that he should have told me that one of the tiles dropped instead of me finding the tiles. This led to the worker picking up some of the tiles then telling me "he is getting f*** out of here" and did not pick up the rest of the tiles. I then sent an email to their corporate office detailing the situation and they told me that they had a vendor already setup to fix the issue. I told them that I would be choosing my own vendor to look into the situation and I wanted their acceptance that they would pay for any vendor that I choose. I never received and email back until I told them what they are doing is criminal activity as you cannot simply damage someone's property and leave trash on their property. In addition, I sent them the inspection cost to ensure that my ac unit is working properly. I did not even pursue getting the large scratches removed from my ac unit that their careless workers caused. They stated that they have sent the check for the inspection cost however I have not received it and the trash is still on my property. I've had my roof + solar installed by Secure Roofing and Solar 5 years ago (April, 2014). They replaced the roof, rain gutters and installed a new solar system. The roof and rain gutters have worked perfectly with zero issues. The solar has been great, especially as the power company raises rates. I've only had 1 issue with my solar panels. When my system was about 1 year old I noticed that power production was about 1/2 of what I'd expect. I made a mental note to call Secure and ask them to come fix it. However, before I even had a chance to call they sent someone to my house and began working on it. Amazing customer service!I highly recommend them. More...

My remodel started on 10/1/2014 and am completing the 4th month of remodeling. I had a very large remodeling job which included solar system, new roof, stucco resurfacing the entire house including the chimney, a room addition, replacing a window, redesigning a closet, replacing front door and garage door, replacing outdoor house lights, and lots of other things.
Four months seems lengthy, but when you had to deal with the rainy weather, architect, and a city inspector, delays should be expected. I also caused some delays due to my adding things to the remodel.
One should expect the unexpected with the city inspector. This was my first experience and I wish it would be my last. The Project Manager, Tarey Miller, works extremely well with the City Inspector. I would have told off this inspector but Tarey kept his cool and delt with the Inspector tactfully and professionally which made each phase of inspection pass with little changes.
I am a senior citizen and had several houses in my lifetime, each of which I had contractors for remodeling. So far, Secure Roofing and Solar (AKA Secure Home Improvement) has been the top of my list. The reasons are: pricing was reasonable, works well with me, Tarey Miller making on-going on-site inspections of the work, open to making changes That I suggest as the remodel continued, the crew workers showed up on time and worked very hard, workers very honest and respectful, etc. My next remodel will be within 5 years and I will definitely have them give me their estimate.

Secure Roofing and Solar completed installing a new roof and solar panels on my home last week and the entire experience has been outstanding.
This company was a real pleasure to do business with. Rick, the salesperson I talked to, was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the product. The Secure Crew that installed the roof and solar panels were on time every day, courteous and friendly, hard working and very professional. The Crew respected our property, kept us informed as to the progression of the install and cleaned up every night before going home. The follow up by the company was an added bonus!
Secure Roofing and Solar worked hard to ensure that our install was to our satisfaction. All of our questions and concerns were priority #1. Secure Roofing and Solar far exceeded all of our high expectations. They rate as one of the best, if not the best, company I have ever worked with. A first class company, very impressed. I am a realtor and called Secure because of a small leak on a client's condo. Secure had reroofed the property about 10 years ago and were great about coming out and repairing it at no charge. While they were there, I noticed another potential problem from the reroof and they came back out and fixed it, also at no charge, before it could cause a potential leak. Kip, the repairman, and Dave, the owner, went above and beyond to take care of my client and through Dominic in the office they were in constant contact with me via email or phone. That is not the norm in the roofing business, as I have grown up knowing the roofing industry as my dad and uncle had a roofing company in Los Angeles for 50 years. We had 18 panels installed last October/November and I wanted to wait for 6 months to see how the system was working. And I can now say so far so good! The system has been up and working everyday since the installation was completed. The installation team headed up by Jose was efficient, knowledgeable and professionsal. We have always wanted a solar system and as soon as we owned our own home we went to find a good company. We went with Secure Roofing because we needed a new roof as well and they did the whole thing. Financing was easy, the work went without a hitch, the workers were all extremely nice and they always cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks amazing and the solar system works great.
