Tali and her team at Second Street Flowers did an incredible job at our wedding at Cornerstone, Sonoma in August 2018. I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a quality florist. While there are many great florists in the Bay Area, Tali's differentiates with her creative, artistic beauty - her design esthetic has a different level of sophistication. Tali was extremely gifted in the way she listened to my ideas and crafted the most beautiful creation of wildflowers and natural, earthy colors (what I wanted but I've seen her do a whole range of work). Second Street Flowers, Tali and her team, did all the arrangements for our wedding in July in Nicasio. They did the church, the reception, our cake, flowers for my hair and headband for my flower girl and boutonnieres. I opted not to have a bouquet. They got it so right. All the muted pastel colors and sage greens. I live out of state and was trying to find a local spot to send my mom flowers (she's in Petaluma). I have used this shop twice now and have absolutely loved the flowers they have delivered to my mom. I just buy the size of arrangement I want through their website (super easy) and give them free creative reign. My mom has been very happy with what has been delivered both times. Second Street Flowers did flowers for my wedding ceremony and reception. Everything turned out absolutely gorgeous! I definitely recommend them they were professional and creative with their design. In a time of sadness and loss, Second Street Florist made the day a bit brighter with a beautiful arrangement for the memorial service of someone lost too soon. I called three days before the service.  The woman who assisted me took time walk through floral arrangement options and explain the process of how / where the flowers would be delivered.  Being 3,000 miles, she made the process seamless.Thank you Second Street Flowers for giving the family one less thing to worry about. Wish I could give them 6 stars. I called the same day I wanted my arrangement and the younger gal who helped me (from 1st phone call up until pickup) was so accommodating & kind. I needed the arrangement for my (pretty much) mother-in-law as her mother passed earlier that day (December 30, 2017). I had seen arrangements online that were very sort of... dated. She's a young at heart so I didn't want the older looking arrangements. When I called, I told the girl that ultimately I wanted only pink, for a sympathy gift and not a lot of greenery. More flowers then filler. She asked me what my budget was and I told her I didn't want to have to refinance my car, but I also chose not to go to Safeway and support a local business. :) So we settled on $65-$70. When I came in, she was soooo sweet, knew I was the one coming in for the pickup and told me she'd wrap them and I'd be on my way. My god, the flowers were impeccable. So gorgeous!! I WISH I took a photo, but I almost wanted to keep them for myself. Teehee.. They were just, so pink, so soft spoken, almost like they were saying, "I'm sorry for your loss, let me brighten your day without being too loud." Absolute perfection. The wrap job was in brown paper with a straw to tie it together and a single rose in the middle like a wax stamp. I handed them off to my boyfriend to take to his Mom since I couldn't and winked at him as to tell him, these are the flowers I want from now on.. Lol! Tali at Second Street Flowers did the flowers for our October 2017 wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. We chose her originally because we were having the wedding up in Geyserville. Leading up to the ceremony, we met with her at the shop in Petaluma to discuss all the details about what we wanted and didn't want from our florals, and then closer to the date had a walk-through at the wedding site. She was very helpful with all the questions we had and knew exactly what sort of feel we wanted. Four days before the wedding, we had to switch venues at the last minute and move down to San Francisco because of the North Bay fires. Tali completely updated the flower color scheme etc. at the last minute so they worked with the new venue, and they couldn't have looked more wonderful. The bouquets she put together for me and the bridesmaids were the perfect size and were stunning. The groomsmen's and groom's boutonnieres were also great. Tali did such an amazing job on our wedding flowers! Our wedding was outdoors with plenty of redwoods, so we wanted our flowers to look elegant but with whimsical flowing elements, which she captured perfectly. Tali also made me a small flower crown, which I used in lieu of a veil, as well as a beautiful pampas grass circle that we used instead of an altar. The altarpiece was then repurposed for the reception, and some parts made it into our photobooth as well! I got a flower crown for our June 2017 wedding from Second Street Flowers. The process was super easy - I sent in photo inspiration and they made me a gorgeous flower crown. We live in Southern California and our daughter lives in Petaluma. It was her birthday recently and we wanted to send flowers.  The best thing you can do is try to find something on yelp and hope that you get what you want.  Well we got beyond what we wanted with Talie's help. Our daughter was at work when the flowers were delivered and she was awestruck with the arrangement that Talie made for her. She said that her flowers brighten up her whole office and everybody came by to see them.  If you live out of town or you live in Petaluma you can trust that Second Street Flowers is trustworthy and will get the job done for you. Tali helped me with my wedding flowers. I still remember on the day of, I and rest of the wedding party arrived the venue early to get ready. The moment I saw Tali's team and the flower arrangements they brought, I knew I could just relax and enjoy the day because everything will be so beautiful and great. Tali said, hey do you want to see your bouquet. And I saw my bouquet and screamed. I remember that moment so clearly because it swept away all my worries/nervousness - how stunning the flowers were simply reminded me it's a beautiful day that I should enjoy. Thank you, Tali!My planner and I got in touch with Tali in late July, one month before the wedding day. We met once in the city, walked through some basics: location, theme, style, things on the proposal. Tali is very pleasant to communicate with and she brought up great suggestions. Quickly we set up a sample meeting where Tali showed us samples of bouquet and center piece and we gave feedback. I would recommend it to brides who just cannot wait to seeing the flowers. Otherwise I think you will be totally fine to just trust Thistle. Another pro of having this meeting is you get all your questions answered so that you won't be worried: Is this flower available in this season? Does that flower last long enough and won't die too soon under sun because it's an outdoor wedding? We loved the flowers that Thistle did for our outdoor Marin wedding. Tali was prompt at responding when we first reached out, and she was able to meet up with us in person in a coffee shop on a quick timeline (when we first started planning our wedding it was local, but we found ourselves moving across country before most of the major vendors had been booked, so it all turned into a bit of a mad dash). She was also very prompt in responding to the many emails in the weeks before our wedding when we trying to hammer out final details (what vases do the flowers come in, can we hang them from the chairs in the aisle and re-purpose them for tables etc). The flowers were also very affordable, and Tali was very transparent on the pricing of everything (she sent us the price of all of the different arrangements, and left it to us to tell her which and how many arrangements we wanted) and willing to work with us to make sure we could stay close to our budget. We ended up paying to have our flowers delivered, and she was able to make two stops for us (to deliver the bouquet/boutineer to the hotel where we got ready, and everything else to our venue).Tali was able to take our thoughts/comments and a few photos we had pinned on Pintrest and deliver us beautiful flowers that fit both us and our venue. Went here yesterday to get an arrangement and was blown away! The shop is adorable and has so many options, the owner pulled together the perfect bouquet on the spot. Let me just say first of all that Heather at 2nd Street Flowers is a complete superstar and a total sweetheart. We walked in off the street in dire need of a emergency bouquet for a friend's wedding later that day, and she put together a breathtakingly beautiful arrangement in deep purple tones completely on the fly. Lilacs, sweet peas, passion vine, all sorts of gorgeous botanicals I've never seen outside of flowers in super high-end bridal magazines, and she was so sweet, enthusiastic, and helpful the whole time, despite me and my two friend's pre-wedding scattered-ness. And she gave us an INCREDIBLE deal. I really can't recommend this shop more. They have amazing aesthetics, great prices, and fantastic customer service. I live two and a half hours away, and I wish I was closer so I could be a regular customer, but please take my advice and check them out! More...

We hired Thistle for our wedding florals, and were beyond thrilled! Tali was able to take our high level vision and create beautiful bouquets, corsages, and centerpieces that perfectly matched our vision. Working with Tali was so easy. She is extremely responsive, consultative and customer service-oriented. When I told her that I wanted an eco-friendly wedding, she brought forth and ideas such as repurposing ceremony florals to the reception and using local flowers. We hired the Thistle team to do florals for our wedding with somewhat short notice back in September and they did a fantastic job! They created our centerpieces, bridal party flowers, a chuppah, and more. They even repurposed the ceremony arrangements around the reception venue to help us creatively stay within our budget. I approached Tali with a very specific vision for our centerpieces and the Thistle team really managed to bring that to life while also staying true to their style. I was recommended to Tali by a friend and am very happy we booked her to do our florals for our wedding! From start to finish, Tali was very professional, friendly/personable, detailed, organized and just flat out good at what she does! Tali took the time to get to know us, understand our vision and what we liked and didn't liked and the amount of detail to perfect our wedding day. This is long overdue! Talia and Chris are such warm and personable individuals. The two are amazingly creative and a joy to work with. They were one of the best parts of my wedding planning.
