Welcome to Seasons Pantry. We are Rugby's newest caterer. So how are we different?
Our sole purpose is to provide fresh, delicious food, that has a minimum impact on the environment - making us a caterer with a conscience.
Our menus are bespoke for each event, allowing us to help each client design the catering offer based on taste and budget.

We chose Seasons Pantry and Russell to cater our wedding in August 2019, because they had seemingly good reviews, great photography, slick marketing and Russell was very proactive when it came to responding to our initial queries and questions.
The proactivity and responses immediately tapered off once we had paid the deposit however and everything went downhill from there. Leading up to the wedding, we were worried about a no show, as a result of other reviews we later discovered. It seems others have been left in the lurch on or around the day, which is terrible. This led to considerable stress and us having to put up back up plans and putting extra effort into chasing Russell to meet.
Out of the blue, Russell dropped the bomb shell that we would have to pay for his oven equipment despite this not being listed anywhere in the contract. We had budgeted very carefully for the wedding as any couple would do and so we had a sit-down with Russell where he relented eventually and he agreed that if we paid more money early, this allow him to book the ovens.
We did so under the agreement that the money was a holding fee for 110 guests and that as long as we informed him of the final numbers 3 weeks before the bid day, we would be paid back the difference. This was all in writing in the contract, however ever since the wedding day Russell has ignored calls, emails and all attempts to contact him. His website is down and he is clearly attempting to relent on returning our money.
This is all bad enough, but to the most important mater of the catering itself, the mains were cold, the ‘vegetarian’ option contained meat – Yes, that really was the case. One of our guests noticed the taste of meat, which she had not eaten for years and when we asked Russell’s team, we were informed that there was probably some meet in the sauce on the vegetarian pasta. This was hugely disappointing. They also run out of evening food – despite us paying for the appropriate portions.
All in all, we were hugely disappointed with Russell & Seasons Pantry and I would advise anyone to strongly think again about working with him or his team. I have read other reviews with similar stories and I really hope no one else has to go through this.

Brilliant special menu for our party. The canapes were amazing...totally different to the norm and the flowers were a lovely touch. We had several different dishes for the buffet, in particular the whole salmon was complimented on by our guests. Oh and the brownies! Totally exquisite. Russell's communication speed was second to none and along with a lovely proposal assured us we were in safe hands. The food was exceptionally presented. Brilliant from the get-go! They were so accommodating of our plans and even more so with our picky guests. Russell was so lovely during our planning meetings and on the day the team were very helpful. Food was excellent (but we knew it would be). After complications with our caterers just 3 weeks before our wedding we found Russell and the team at Seasons Pantry. The communication from Russell was the fastest I have ever experienced from any business which is just what we needed when being in a panic from losing our previous caterers. Russell accommodated to our every need and request, especially towards the rules and regulations from a very strict venue. In the end I was glad it turned out the way it did because Russell managed to get us excited again from taking away all the stress. Then we get to the big day, Russell and the team looking smart and everyone with a friendly smile on there face. They were very attentive and as for the food... phenomenal! We had an afternoon tea and every guest was left full and satisfied, all with glowing reviews for the food and staff. I can't recommend Seasons Pantry highly enough and I will definitely be using them again should the occasion arise! 5 Stars from us, thanks for helping to make our big day perfect!! More...

Russell and his team prepared an amazing meal at our home for a birthday party. The service was impeccable, food was amazing and even happy to give pointers to the guests while cooking! They took over the kitchen to prepare the food, serve it to the table, announcing each course. Once finished the team take everything away, no dishes left! What’s your signature dish?
Our salads! They are a staple for any event and always go down a treat. Think superfood salads topped with delicious dressings and incredible side dishes.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We speak with each client in depth about the event and what sort of 'feel' they want to achieve, and then we sent an initial menu. This is the starting point for conversations around ingredients, seasonality and of course, taste. We work with lots of local suppliers so often recommend a specific food or product that we believe it of top quality.
Each client is different and therefore, we take the time to build bespoke menus for each event.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating special events that people will remember. We are passionate about our style and try to give each client a truly special experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After spending over 7 years working at some of the best event venues in London and catering for all types of events, from weddings to corporate lunches, it was time to put my skills to the test and go it alone.
