I hosted an event at my house for 30 people and selected Delectable Creations as the catering company. I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Chef Jaydene started by asking about the timeline, flow and vibe I was going for and then made several  menu suggestions based on those desires and my budget (not an easy task).  The day of the event I was running around getting ready and feeling nervous...at least until they arrived. They were on time and went straight to work  setting everything up and soon my home was filled with the inviting smell of fried sage which was being used on an appetizer. The set up was beautiful, the staff were professional , gracious and warm. She took care of every detail including separating a few plated items into "nuts/no nuts" to accommodate my concerns. This a review that is waaaaaay overdue! Jaydene was amazing from day 1 when we were planning our wedding for October 2015. She was so helpful and catered to our every need. She checked in to keep me on track! I'm a the sole provider for our family of 3 on a teacher salary and I needes a budget for a wedding party of 150! Chef Jaydene  and her team did an INCREDIBLE job providing catering for our all-day conference a couple of weeks ago.  Jaydene was great in helping us make food and beverages choices for the event, provided us with great ideas, and very reasonable pricing.  The day of the event, the staff arrive promptly, and they were friendly, professional and efficient.  We had food set up in the same room as the presenters, and you did not even realize the team of catering staff were in the room when they had to set up or break down for the next meal.  The food was fantastic and we got very positive feedback from the participants.  I would highly recommend Delectable Creations for this type of corporate event based on food selection, pricing, and great service -- that is a great all around package!  Thanks to Chef Jaydene and her team, and we will absolutely use them for our future events. Chef Jaydene made a wonderful array of delicious bites for a recent party of mine. From the goat cheese and fig cups (seriously, they are a must have on every menu, don't let the fig or goat cheese part scare you, they were a HIT) to the mini apple pies for dessert, she helped make the party a huge success! jaydene catered our daughter's first birthday at the santa monica aquarium.  she was super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, and worked with my wifey to build out a kid and adult friendly menu that pleased all of our guests. she and her crew are so professional, friendly, and upbeat, they eliminated all stress and let us enjoy the party.  hell, she even arrived at the venue shortly before us to start coordinating!thanks jaydene! Start to finish - total perfection! Chef Jaydene made my party a smash! Everyone raved about the food and the service. We had a holiday party for 30 people last night and it went beautifully. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!   Jaydene and her team were upbeat, cool as cucumbers and made sure I had a good time while they took care of every detail. The planning stage with Jaydene was fun and painless. She makes great recommendations, listens and you end up with the perfect menu. She also supplied the bartender and she was fabulous. She is the best! I came across her a few years ago on yelp and have been using her ever sense for my companies annual Thanksgiving Lunch. She is always on time and helps with all the set up. It has been about 3 years since we have been using her and we will continue to! Her food is always so fresh and still warm when being delivered. Everyone looks forward to her cooking every year. Had a house warming party with 50+ guests that Jaydene catered. The food was incredible!!!! More than enough food for everyone at the party. She also had a bartender that had the drinks flowing for all the guests. The whole party ran very smoothly, and they did an impeccable  job of cleaning up and packing leftovers (lots of leftovers for the next few days).Everyone had a great time, and Jaydene and her crew were a huge part of it. She and her staff were extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend using Jaydene for any catering needs. Great food, service and price! I know I'll be using her again sometime in the near future. Just threw a huge birthday party for 100 guests with live entertainment.  Chef Jaydene was my partner through it all!  I needed tables and chairs - she got them for me!  I needed a DJ - she found a GREAT one  (who I'm also going to have to write a stellar review for!)  We needed a valet!  And someone to take video - she had those too!  And they were all top notch!  This was a big event on the scale of a wedding and she helped me every step of the way.  Even when we needed additional, last minute rentals (one day before Thanksgiving mind you) she handled it all with grace and composure.  And of course, the food was amazing!  She gave me a lot of great suggestions that helped make my event memorable. THE BEST!If there was an option to put 10 stars, I would definitely put it on here for Miss Jaydene O'Connor and her staff. First of all, Jaydene is ON IT. She will spend time with you on the phone and in person to discuss exactly what you want for your event. She catered my 11-11-11 wedding, and it was the BEST WEDDING EVER. And I could NOT have done it without Jaydene. The initial walk through of the venue, she was actively taking notes on her iPad, listening to what I envisioned, and was super professional and very cool.She is just amazing. The food was great, she and her girls set up a big plate of food and drinks for us after the ceremony so we could have some downtime to actually eat before the mingling began. In short, she really DOES go that extra mile that most people don't give.You MUST hire this woman and her company for your next event. She's bonafide STELLAR. Enough said. Amazing! She did the catering for my wedding and it was more than I could have hoped for. The food was delicious and her staff was awesome. Since my original review I've used Jaydene a number of times and have been delighted every single time. Whether it's a birthday party or Thanksgiving apps, Jaydene's food always looks like I spent a fortune without actually having to. To top it all off she's super patient, I had picky family members come to my house for the first time and I was super stressed. Chef Jaydene is FANTASTIC on every level.  Her food, the presentation, the cost - every piece is better than the next.   She's got a wonderful sense of making her food with just enough of a twist that you want the recipe and with so much ease that you actually think that you might be able to make it!  Trust me she just makes it look effortless - don't try to cook yourself - hire her!   I'd hire her again for any size party - from a sit down to hors d'oeuvres you won't be sorry you called her.
