The Pullman Hotel pool and the eatery that serves its guests. Fun! I was there with friends over the weekend so the place wasn't too crowded. I imagine with the enormous investment by large tech companies in this real estate over the past years that this place has a different vibe during the week. What I kept thinking was how when i was a little boy, I was roaming around here looking for killer whales and dolphins -- long before the move to Vallejo and long before dropping the AFRICA USA part of the title. Realized at the last minute this place is the remodeled bar inside the Pullman (formerly Sofitel) Hotel. Walked in for lunch, had the $21 fish-n-chips which were lightly battered and came with the toppings pictured ; ) A bit expensive, though to their credit, the fish was just perfect and amazing. Table service was quick and attentive. The place was spotless and not too busy, great views of the lagoon. Washed this down with a brew, which was a bit pricey though happy the water and parking validation were free. With tip lunch came to $37, So rate this at $$$ not $$ but that's just me. Overall so tasty, service pleasant and environment favorable, I'll be back -- Could be often if they did happy hour like Mistral, Izzy's, and everyone else in the area does -- just suggesting :) Otherwise, worth the indulgence if you don't mind the cost. Fantastic place. Nestled . right on the water. I had the pork buns and tofu bars. Having a partner that is vegetarian, this was a perfect solution. Will definitely be going back.
