It's very rare that you find a place that manages to become your favorite store, your every day training studio and your favorite venue for shows and events in a city. Amazingly, that's what Kamphyre has become for me. It is my second home throughout the week. The owners are incredibly passionate people who are tirelessly working to build a space where circus artists, photographers, djs, vjs and event promoters can work collaboratively, develop their skills, host shows and build a community. If you want a space to train, hang out, host shows, workshops or poetry slams, take a serious look at Kamphyre. You wont find a more dedicated team anywhere in the city. More...

I had the opportunity to use this phenomenal space often when I lived in Halifax. I trained flow arts and aerials at Kamphyre and also got to attend a lot of great events they hosted. There is no venue in town (or that I've encountered anywhere) that equals Kamphyre when it comes to supporting artists and creating an amazing space for their development.
