Scottish Transfers — especially driver Ali, made my year and new start so much better already. Finally moving back to Scotland from the south of England, after lots of personal hard times and a stressful last-minute house move on top of that, Ali came to pick us up, to drive ahead of the moving van.
Without waking us up, Ali had already turned up all the way from Scotland at the wee hours in the morning, to make sure he was well on time, such a thoughtful, well-organised thing to do, just goes above and beyond.
And he was so professional, genuine, helpful and kind. He even helped out with extra house stuff as we were stuck for van space, and was so nice about my cat coming along as well, and for me, just making sure we had all the comfort in the world for the long trip ahead. Cushions, asking if and which music I'd prefer, regularly asking if the cat's ok, offered a coffee, etc. He was so nice to talk to as well. Pure friendly, considerate, reliable. Faith in people = restored. Really reminded me of how lovely most people in Scotland can be, which made me feel relieved, proud and excited to soon be back in Scotland again. After weeks of stress, I finally felt relaxed and hopeful (so relaxed I actually fell asleep half the journey!). My cat went straight to sleep as well (usually my cat is loudly meowing all through any car ride), so he must have felt I was at ease and it was very smooth driving as well.
Both Ali and I cheered when we passed the Scottish border :)
He also told me lots of info about the area we were moving to, which was so nice to learn. And he was totally right, the people really are friendly here, Kirkintilloch is a great little town with lots of green spaces around, close to Glasgow, and indeed, we definitely love it here and felt at home straight away just like he said.
Thank you so much Ali, for being so kind — you really made a difference. We'll definitely book with Scottish Transfers again whenever we need the friendliest taxi service ever.

Hi my name is Susan and I had prebooked with Scottish Transfers from my home in Ireland about a week before we went to Glasgow to celebrate a 70th birthday there was numerous bookings made after that as well to get 14 of us to and from the venue which was in Uddingston and absolutely nothing was a problem with this company especially the driver called Aftab who actually just give me his number and anywhere we needed to get a taxi for whatever amount of people was no problem. Such well kept cars,spotlessly clean and absolute gentlemen of drivers who waited on us and didn't have a problem with that.Will never be using any other taxi service again.Thanks again Aftab for all your help over the last 3 days.Would definitely highly recommend this company. We had tried to book a taxi for an airport transfer via their own website - the website didn't work and "confirmed a booking" for 1 person with 8 bags (not what we wanted or had tried to ask for - I still have the emails). We then booked another transfer via Taxicode who used Scottish Transfers (but under another name - Glasgow Airport Transfers). This had the correct details 5 people, 5 bags. Both confirmation emails received had different reference numbers. Contacted Scottish Transfers to cancel the booking reference with 1 person and 8 bags. Day of transfer - no one appears and mad dash to the airport and had to leave the car there. It turns out Scottish Transfers cancelled BOTH bookings (2 different references) and advised Taxicode we had cancelled the booking we had made through them - which we hadn't. Taxicode didn't bother to confirm anything with us and charged us for cancelling late notice. They also took 2 additional amounts from our account which bank had to classify as fraud. We tried to contact Scottish Transfers to get them to help sort the issue. They just kept denying any responsibility and said they had "cancelled the booking as requested" - they never replied as to which booking reference they cancelled as we had 2. They said we weren't their customer and they had no responsibility to help us. When we asked for a copy of all info they had on the issue (which they had already advised us they had sent to Taxicode) under new GDPR laws, they replied saying they "held no info". Interesting seeing as they had advised they had sent info about us and our booking already. Took no responsibility and then blocked from Facebook when I had tried to contact them privately to sort the issue rather than posting publicly. They are happy to receive good reviews but are unable and unwilling to help in negative issues as seen in other negative reviews on Facebook. Good customer service involves being able to deal with both good and bad situations. These people can't cope with negative issues or responses. Ended up costing us £120 as they incorrectly cancelled a booking and couldn't admit that. Avoid. More...

This service was recommended by a friend who lives in Scotland. I scheduled a taxi pickup from my Airbnb in Glasgow to the Glasgow Airport at 05:00. I was able to book this online using their suggested app (something I would recommend)! Our driver, Sal, arrived around fifteen minutes early-which was wonderful. He was incredibly polite and an excellent driver. The app suggested the cost of the trip would be ~£16. I ended up paying £17, plus a £2 airport drop off fee (I expected it to be more than what was approximated so I was fine paying this much). Highly recommend these guys they picked us up for our holiday, 4 adults and 2 kids with lots of luggage. No problem for space. We cannot praise this firm highly enough. We were met at the airport by our cheerful and friendly driver. On our journey to the Emirates Arena he pointed out places of interest along the way. Best taxi ride ever ! The driver was waiting with a placard with our names when my wife and I flew in to Prestwick airport, 10 o'clock at night when the car hire desks were long closed. Very comfy big Mondeo. Rob the driver couldn't have been more helpful. He chatted away to us and was very informative. He even offered to drop us off and wait while we picked up some shopping. Not all heros wear capes! Some go by the name of Rob and drive a mini bus! Rob at Scottish transfers saved the day for my friend and I when we were stranded in Edinburgh city center during the terrible snow and storms. After making our way home from Leeds the previous day. We were stuck for onward travel to Glasgow, the trains were all cancelled as were the buses - the country went into lockdown. We were facing the same fate on day 2 in Edinburgh and desperate to get home! Scottish transfers shared a post that they were ferrying people from Edinburgh to Glasgow FOR FREE!! Thankfully we were fortunate enough to land a spot on the mini bus and were taken to our homes. Rob was a joy, excellent driver under the difficult conditions and it was incredibly kind of him and ST to put this on. Grateful is too much of an understatement for how I feel. I arranged my taxi before travel and paid online which was great. The invoice was on my laptop so no chance of losing it.
