Great food , lovely grand building, it was wonderful to have the wedding outside. The pleasant polite staff could not do enough to help the only drawback was that the brides and therefore our changing room was up three flights of stairs. A lift would have been handy.

We got married here a couple days ago and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. From when we started planning last August up until the end of the night on Saturday, Dianna (and staff! !!) was absolutely wonderful! Our day went so smoothly. It is such a beautiful building and I can't wait to see how our pictures will turn out (our Toronto-based photographer was crazy about the venue too!). I felt so blessed to have my wedding at the Scottish Rite. From the moment I walked through the doors in the morning if felt like my second home. Our theme was Star Wars since we had May 4th as our wedding date and I was amazed with how well they helped to pull off a classy star wars wedding. The venue was perfect and the staff were phenomenal. The food especially the taste testing is still talked about by everyone who attended. A huge thank you to Carolyn for helping to organize everything and keep the peace between my mother and I. We had our Medieval themed wedding here on September 30th. Everything was perfect. The room was decorated beautifully. The service was outstanding. The meal was fantastic. Married here in September 2016. It was an excellent venue well decorated for photographs, very large and with plenty of room to move around. Even a secret passageway to get to the ceremony unseen!

I cannot say enough about our experience at the Scottish Rite. My husband and I joked that the building did most of the work for us – it’s stunning inside and the cathedral captured the theatrical nature of both of our personalities. Every one of our guests commented on the experience of just being in the building. We were so lucky to work with Jessica and her assistant Amanda. They were both always on their A-game, in positive moods when we showed up, and were so on-the-ball when the wedding day came. We were two people who were pretty easygoing about what we wanted, and Jessica was able to direct our brains to the most crucial parts of the day, and give us great suggestions that matched our personalities as well as the ‘must-haves’ for ourselves and our parents. We were never worried about how the day would go, because we knew that whatever happened those two would be all over it. Now, we keep saying that we wish we had a reason to go back to the Rite so we can hang out with them again  Also, some of their wedding packages hook you up with a lot of the big stuff that usually cause headaches: food, cake, bar, DJ, officiant – we were able to deal with them all care of the Rite. It was an enormous weight off our shoulders while planning. I would most definitely recommend this venue to any couples that want something with big visual character and/or a low-stress experience. We hosted our staff holiday party at the Scottish Rite on December 19. Even though the Holiday Buffet week had already occurred, we were offered the same buffet on a later date. It was EXCELLENT! The food, service and décor were all top notch. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate the holidays and our team. Thank you to the Scottish Rite team for an excellent luncheon!
