Q&As

I like everything about my job. When I am able to help a family with their dog, and I have kept another dog from going to a shelter, I am flying on a cloud.

As a volunteer, I was told I was a natural at dealing with dogs and understanding what their needs were. So when the economy tanked, I decided to do the thing that would make me most happy and I started dog training school. I hope in the near future to start training service rescue dogs for returning vets. That will make my life complete!

I care more about the dogs than the money I make. I know I am not the most expensive trainer out there, or the cheapest for that matter, but you will see positive changes in your dog if you stick to the plan.

Services

My private in-home training can help you solve ANY issue you may be experiencing with your canine companion, regardless of breed, size or age.

Maybe you have tried or are thinking of taking a group class. Given your dog is one of kind, the "one size fits all" approach of an obedience class may or may not help, as dogs are often different in a home environment than in a class setting.

The advantage to private, in-home training is that it is customized, tailored and personal to you and your dogs' specific needs, taking into account your dog's personality, drive and temperament. This type of training program is highly recommended by animal shelters, breeders and veterinarians, and I use only positive, humane and natural training methods – no clickers, shock collars or prong collars.
