Dr Sharon was a superb Dentist!! I was very nervous beforehand, as I have always previously had bad experiences with Dentists but she was excellent. I wanted to have my teeth whitened and Sharon took her time to explain everything I needed to know, and I am thrilled with the results. During the last 50 years or so I've been to many dentists and have been using the Scott Arms practice for about the last 2 years. Treatment has included two dental implants, the fitting of a crown to a broken tooth, and fillings, as well as the routine appointments for check ups and to the hygienist. I really can't fault them. The waiting area, and every part of the building I've seen, is tastefully decorated, comfortable and welcoming - with free hot drinks while you wait! (The hot chocolate is excellent!) Appointments have always been made available when needed, including an emergency appointment, after a tooth broke. Staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The information provided is made easy to understand, and dentists and other clinical staff have provided helpful support in making decisions (For example, to have dentures or implants). I contacted the Scott Arms dental practice when my dentist was on holiday I was given an appointment the same day and was seen and my problem sorted swiftly and with care and compassion, I then developed the same issue in another tooth 2 days later as I was going on holiday I contacted them again and was again seen swiftly and the problem sorted with care compassion and respect, i would highly recommend the Scott Arms Dental practice, it was a wonderful feeling to walk out of the practice confident that the problem had been sorted and above all I was now out of pain. and went onto have a lovely pain free holiday.

35 years of Phobia...Best dentist EVER Having been very afraid of the dentist for over 35 years, I dreaded the fact that I was having an extraction, I had previous bad experiences and my fear is very real. .This phobia had ruined every visit I ever made to the dentist. I did not need to worry, from the receptionist sitting with me in the waiting area to the amazing nurses and patient dentist what was hell on earth turned into a bearable experience for me. The dentist was kind, honest, and patient with 2 wonderful support staff. I had a pain free extraction. Every step was explained, there was no rush and my comfort was paramount. I felt valued and most of all my phobia was recognised with empathy. Thank you to the team. I would now not use any other practice, you have changed my fearful opinion of dentistry. Received an apology from Scott Arm Dentist when computer failed.

Due to computer failure, I waited nearly 2 hours to see the dentist. The next day I received a phone call from the Manager of Scott Arm Dental Practice offering her sincere apology.

This is the best dental practice I have visited. Reception staff and reception area are great, comfy seats, large screens and a free drinks machine.

Accepted it's not about the above but accumulativelly everything builds the picture.
Introduced to the best dental surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Dr Oliver Tabbenor who is amazing, very patient and makes you feel relaxed immediately and also has the best surgery room I have ever been in. I can't praise this particular Doctor nor the the room and the views enough.

Absolutely amazing - I'm going to start a fan club. Whilst it was 100% professional it was equally very informal which made (for me a nervous patient) it a lot more of a relaxing encounter.
It's like chilling at a mates house but he will sort your teeth while your there.

I came to Scott Arms because I have extreme dental phobia and had been told I needed three fillings and possibly a root canal. Adam Higgins examined me and decided I needed two fillings. He administered sedation and filled my teeth yesterday. I had been filled with dread that these fillings would hurt as much as one I had four years ago, but so far I have been in no pain at all. Yes, it is quite pricey compared to NHS, but the difference in the level of care I have received is worth it. I have given 4 stars for my experience so far; this is only because the reception staff, in comparison to the dental assistants and dentists, have been less smiley and welcoming and more curt and business-like. I know they are very busy, but a few more smiles and eye contact would help put people at their ease. That said, they are most certainly not rude, just busy getting on with their tasks to the point that they hardly look up. I will be going to Scott Arms for my dental care from now on and have signed on to their DenPlan. More...

Hi there came today with my son Jack (dinnertime) very busy receptionists were spot on can't fault waited 40 mins went in to the dentist he and his nurse was fantastic explained everything to my son as he never been to a dentist before x-rayd him explained the options in the end had it taken out ! my son was fine .... I have been a patient with Scott Arm's for about two months and got to say the service i have received has been amazing. Priya has been amazing in helping me and very understanding and feel comfortable in asking her questions about anything. Daisy has also been really good. I was desperately wanting my teeth whitening before my wedding day and I came to Dr Adam Ross Higgins to help me. I was provided with the Boutique whitening products which were in very slick packaging and looked exciting to use. I was so, so impressed with the level of professionalism and care that Dr Higgins showed towards me and the Boutique whitening results were just phenomenal. Dr Adam suggested I use Boutique whitening as I wanted whiter and brighter teeth. I was sceptical as I have used many products in the past that have been useless, however this was fantastic! I used it for the recommended two weeks and since then everyone has commented on how white my teeth look and I noticed a difference right away. As an extremely nervous patient who has previously had poor experiences before, Dr Franks had a friendly and calming presence. Every member of the team from reception, dental nurses and the friendly lady in the waiting room talking to me about the procedure, meant at all times I was made to feel comfortable and content from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Extremely flexible appointments, well worth traveling the 45 mins it takes from my area.

I called the practice with horrendous tooth ache and I was given an appointment the same day, I couldn’t have hit the jackpot any more than having somebody as considerate as Dr Jamie Fuller. The reception team were sympathetic and the hospitality lady created a calm atmosphere in the waiting room, what a star she was! I think her name was Rita, she is an asset for nervous patients like me!
The treatment options for my tooth were explained very clearly and Jamie was very caring and patient with me considering how much pain I was in!
This has been my first dental experience in some years and even though I live 45 minutes away I will definitely be coming back for my regular check-ups, I’ll be bringing my family along too. From start to finish I have been looked after, at the desk, in the surgery and I was even given a call 2 days later from Jamie’s nurse to see how I was getting on, what Gold standard service!
This practice has completely changed my view on what I thought would always be a negative experience. Well done Scott Arms, and thank you!! More...

I attended the practice and saw Lily the therapist. My experience was pleasurable and that says a lot about a dental practice.
From the reception welcome to the nurses they were really welcoming.
Lily put me at ease and explained step by step about my treatment l, I felt like I could ask questions and not be rushed.

I have been coming to this practice on and off for the last year, I have been looked after by lily the hygienist every 3 months, she has been so committed to improving my gum health! I didn’t think coming to the dentist could be so enjoyable, it is relaxing and a comfortable place to be. I have also been seen numerous times on the weekend, even as late as 11pm! The service and quality is 5* at each time of the day.
The new extension to the building has proven the effort that the staff are putting in to provide a clean and professional environment for their patients. I would recommend anybody to come here, regardless of whether they already have their own dentist. Excellent job all round. Thank you. More...
