Carlos is excellent with Billy my 8 month old Cavapoo, he's very patient with him and makes his walks alot of fun. Billy gets really excited when Carlos come to pick him up twice a week for his walk. Carlos at scooby doo is amazing with dogs and he goes above and beyond for each and everyone of them!

My dog Bear had a very bad experience with a different "dog walker" which resulted in him being terrifed to even go out the door with said walker, petrified to go in the van/cage and coming home with injuries on several occasions. I had decided enough was enough and wanted to find a dog walker that would take better care of Bear, someone he would enjoy his walks with. After seeing many recommendations for Carlos at scooby doo I contacted him and he came over to do a home visit to meet Bear and us and tell us about his services and get all insurance and paperwork signed and put in place (something the other dog walker did not do) then because Bear had a previous bad experience he did the first few walks around our area so he could let Bear get used to him and gain trust and confidence. After that he introduced him to his van and the cages and Bear was still terrified however Carlos remained calm and patient and with gentle encouragement he managed to get Bear into the cage in his van and took him for a short drive to somewhere they could walk. Over time still with kindness, patience and encouragement he transformed Bear and he had gone from being petrified of vans and cages and leaving the house with a dog walker to eager and excited to go out with Carlos and content with getting in his van and cage. Even when Carlos got a new van and bigger cages and Bear got nervous again carlos went back to basics and introduced it all to Bear calmly and it didn't take long at all for Bear to be used to it again. He even gets up and waits by the door when he hears Carlos's van reversing as it has the beeping sound. Also a reassuring thing for me is that Carlos would send me regular videos of Bear on his walks and I could see he was happy with a smile on his face and tongue hanging out!
He would always give Bear a treat after a walk and even when Bear couldn't walk with him for a while after having elbow surgeries Carlos would stop by after/between his dog walks and check on him. He would walk Bear on short lead/long lead and off lead all depending on how Bears joints were the day before or that day, he would come and pick Bear up early on very hot days so he would definitely get walked or if that wasn't possible Carlos would let me know it he couldn't walk Bear as it was too hot and unsafe which I understood and really appreciated. He would also keep an eye on Bear during his walks and would stop the walk if he saw bear was struggling ie panting too much or limping. Everything he did was very much appreciated by myself. Unfortunately I have moved out of the area now and Carlos cannot walk Bear anymore which is saddening and when Bear had his last walk it was an emotional goodbye and I could see Bear meant a lot to Carlos and he was going to miss him.

Carlos really does care for all of the dogs he walks and caters for their individual needs personalising the services they need. He is so accommodating as well as patient, calm, kind, encouraging and gives a friendly and attentive service to all his dogs and their owners. I would recommend Carlos at Scooby doo to anyone who was in need of amazing dog walking services.

After a bad experience with my previous dog walker I was searching for one that I could fully trust. Carlos’ qualifications and reputation attracted me to the company at first but on meeting him, the combination of his professionalism and obvious love and understanding of dogs won me over.
Since the first time I hired him to walk my mischievous beagle over a year ago, Carlos has been a very reliable dog walker, always going beyond what would be expected. From daily updates with photographs and video, to helping with monitoring illnesses and behaviour modification;; from walking her at very short notice to adapting to changes of our needs - Carlos is super flexible, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I have recently come on maternity leave so need Carlos less for the next few months.. something I think my dog is sad about! But again, Carlos has made it clear if ever I need a break he will have Bali as and when I need . I have also left him with our key indefinitely... he’s so reliable and has said that if ever we can’t get home he will tend to Bali - a kind offer when we aren’t even using him regularly at the moment.

All in all, Carlos and Scooby Doooo provide an invaluable service that other walkers should model themselves on. Not to mention all at a competitive price! Very much recommended. More...
