We had Derek DJ our wedding and our experience was great! We met with Derek before booking and knew almost immediately that he was who we wanted to work with. He was warm, genuine, and very knowledgeable. Planning the music for our ceremony and reception were both a breeze thanks to his online planner. His communication with us throughout was also wonderful! Nothing was left 'up in the air' before our day, he made sure to have all of the information he needed to make the day a success! He also went out of his way leading up to the day to ensure that we had enough hours of coverage. On our wedding day everything went according to plan and couldn't have been better! I highly, highly recommend Schwartzentruber Music Services! We found out about them from a previous stag and doe we attended in 2017. The music was awesome so I took one of their cards and I am so glad I did! They DJ’d at our stag and doe last spring, and at our wedding last summer. Derek and Tammie were amazing to work with. Derek was very informative when I first contacted him, and was quick to send all information I was requesting for booking and Tammie was so pleasant and sweet! They both always responded to my e-mails quickly whenever I had questions. I was assigned an account on their website which helped me to keep track of all the songs I wanted played at both the stag and doe and the wedding, including categories for song dedications, and which songs I didn’t want played. I found this extremely helpful in planning exactly which songs I 100% wanted played and which songs I wanted played (but wouldn’t be upset if they weren’t played). Tammie absolutely rocked our stag and doe!! I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been to a stag and doe that had people actually DANCING! It was awesome! :) We had people on the dance floor the WHOLE night of our wedding too!! Never was someone NOT on the dance floor! I had so many people tell me afterwards it was the best wedding they had ever attended! I can only attribute that to our amazing DJ Tammie and her awesome tunes!! ;) There were a few songs that I had requested be played during our wedding meal, and for a special surprise (hidden from all but a few people!) during our speeches that weren’t on their website and they were able to accommodate that for me which was very important to me. Derek it was so awesome to see you after almost 30 years!! A huge shout out to you for helping to make the evening flow smoothly! ! you did a great job and helped make Alannah & Andrew's day special!! the roof top beach ceremony (without rain, not sure how you did that? :-)) through to the reception hall transformed with just the right amount of uplighting and an amazing monogram proudly displaying the bride and groom's names ...and the music was awesome ... just the right mix and kept the dance floor full most of the evening...thank you so much!!
