Hello,
I’m Bryan Schulz, founder and teacher of Schulz Music Studios in Chicago. I’ve been teaching piano, drums, ukulele, music theory, and note reading for over 17 years to students from 6 years old and older.

My specialty is finding out what the student likes to play or listen to and use that as the teaching tool. Anything is on the table - pop songs, movie and TV themes, musicals, etc. It makes learning and practicing fun, and students can see the results right away.

A little about me: I went to school for music composition and piano performance at Columbia College in Chicago, studying all styles ranging from classical to jazz. I've also studied percussion and drum set privately for most of my life, and performed in bands around the city including a Tool tribute band.
