I was fortunate enough to have Francesca and the Scheme Events team as my "month-of" planner. Francesca took my vision for my wedding and perfected it. From the minute I met with Francesca she was calm, cool and collected...she listened intently to my concerns and requests and delivered perfectly. Francesca assured me that everything would be as I envisioned it, and it was. On the day of my wedding, Francesca and her team worked to make sure that all vendors set up correctly, were on time, everything was in place and everything looked the best it possibly could look, with smiles on their faces the entire day. Our experience with Scheme events was outstanding. Tara met with us and we instantly connected. The attention to detail and professionalism was immediately prominent. What set her apart was the passion she had towards bringing our vision to life. She didn't only listen and take notes but truly got to know us as a couple. Where do I begin! Tara and her team are absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our wedding dream come true.

I interviewed/met with tons of wedding planners but when I met Tara it was different. I could tell she had a passion for her work and she genuinely loved what she did.

I loved the fact that I was able to work directly work with her. Some of my girl friends that got married said they were mostly in communication with the wedding planner’s assistant. This was not the case with Tara. Even though I knew she was planning other weddings she never made us feel like our wedding was not important or too far down the road to worry about. We always felt like her main priority. I also loved the fact that I could email Tara at 9:30PM and when I would wake up the next day I would have an email from her answering all my million questions.

Tara also did an amazing job recommending vendors to use. From DJ Shai Peri to Mike at Pure Light Creative. They were all amazing.

You know you have an AMAZING wedding planner when after its all over& done .You realize you kind of got attached to her & are sad you wont be dealing with her anymore (Rissa) . There are not enough kind word in the dictionary to describe how Fantastic & hardworking these Scheme ladies are! Let me start off by saying we did not have a large budget for fancy wedding with all the custom details a lot of brides get . Our wedding still turned out to be everything I always dreamed it to be! And if I had a million dollars to spend today I would not change 1 thing ! They worked so hard , Made sure we stayed within our budget, & still made it look like a million bucks! Tara is not only the best wedding coordinator out there, but truly an amazing person inside and out. This means so much when planning a wedding because it should be personalized and unique down to the tiniest of details and Tara was able to do that for us because of her genuine interest for us as a couple. We started planning over 2 years out and Tara was organized, timely, thoughtful and creative throughout the entire planning process. She was straight forward with ideas and costs and after a while she was reading my mind when it came down to the design plan. She will spend the time to research, plan and then present you with multiple courses of action and was a life savor when choosing vendors since we were not living in the area. We cannot thank Scheme & Tara enough for making our wedding day so perfect!!

First of all, planning our wedding was no easy feat because we live in Hong Kong and decided to get married in Vegas, we did not have time to fly over to scout for venues, which meant that Tara had to do all these field trips and videos for us! !

Tara also designed this beautiful wedding theme and gave us some great suggestions on vendors, she took care of all the finer details that I had never even thought of. Its been 2 months since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how amazing the finer details were.

Oh, and did i mention there is a 15 hour time difference between Vegas and Hong Kong so all our meetings were done through skype calls in the evening.

Hiring Scheme, and specifically Tara, to help us plan our wedding may be the best thing we have ever done (after getting engaged of course). We loved working with Tara! We were nervous about planning a destination wedding but Tara was with us every step of the way. She worked with our budget, listened to our ideas, and helped us sort out our wants versus needs. Upon getting engaged, my husband and I originally thought we would wait until we eventually moved back to the east coast to get married where all of our friends and family live, but after a few months, we decided we didn’t want to wait any longer and we were going to get married in Las Vegas! My husband and I work opposite shifts so it made the idea of planning a wedding by ourselves unimaginable. I decided to look up wedding planners and Scheme Events had really great reviews so I submitted an inquiry to meet and see if it was a good fit.

At our initial meeting, we met with Traci who was outgoing, fun, passionate and most importantly, she laughed at my husband’s jokes  We got along so well during our first meeting that we decided right then and there that Scheme, and Traci were for us! Traci’s personality and style was a perfect match for us. She seemed to know everything we would love before we did! All of the vendors she recommended were absolutely fantastic and every idea we presented to her seemed to seamlessly fit into the overall vision she was building for us! I’m not sure how many other weddings she may have been planning or helping with at the time, but throughout the 8 months or so that we worked together, I literally felt like I was the only bride she was helping! She answered every text, email and call within minutes! I honestly don’t know how she kept all of the little details straight, she is truly gifted at what she does!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Every detail was executed perfectly and the décor was stunning! I lost count of how many people approached us telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We would not have been able to pull it off without Scheme helping us every step of the way! Rissa & staff handled our Son's wedding and to say it was fabulous is putting it mildly.  Rissa worked with our son and his future wife to plan a fabulous party. Hiring Rissa and Scheme Events to plan our January 2015 wedding was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Both my husband and I work demanding jobs, and knew we didn’t want the planning process to consume our lives. From the moment I first met Rissa (girl crush!), she was more like that beyond-organized, insanely creative, and super fun best friend that every girl wants in her life. Rissa was patient when we were indecisive, gave us guidance without ever being pushy and had SO many ideas to personalize our day.

With our ceremony at a Catholic Church and reception at Dragon Ridge Country Club, I was concerned that our wedding would be totally generic, impersonal and boring. Between mood boards, Pinterest exchanges and getting-to-know-you brainstorming sessions, Rissa guided us towards a totally unique English-Garden-Gatsby themed day, magically transforming a sterile ballroom into a sensory overload of romantic and rustic touches. Both my husband and I were in complete shock and awe the whole day.

To top it off, Rissa continuously went above and beyond to include my out-of-town parents in the planning process, something that was super important to me since they were significant financial contributors to our day. Rissa graciously spent hours on the phone with my mother, meticulously answering all her questions and calming her nerves. So sweet and greatly appreciated!

Our wedding was easily one of the best days of our lives! We received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attend, and almost 10 months later, our friends and family are still talking about it like it was yesterday. There aren't enough nice things I can say about Scheme! I was lucky enough to have Rissa as my planner, but I know you can't go wrong with Scheme no matter which planner you get. These Scheme gals seriously rock. All of them.

But back to Rissa, she was (and still is!) awesome every step of the way. Planning the wedding was a long 2 year process for me and the Husband. Rissa was patient, professional, and oh-so-sweet for every day of the planning process. Rissa took the time to really get to know my husband and I so that she was able to create a beautiful wedding catered specifically to our tastes.

And it wasn't just the planning and the designing. (she designed a GORGEOUS wedding for me, btw) It was executing. When the Big Day came, Scheme was there earlier than I was awake. They started prepping and hauling while I sipped on my bubblies. The whole wedding party and I got to focus on getting ready and having fun. At first I was only interested in hiring a day-of coordinator; but retaining Scheme's full-service wedding coordination made so much more sense. Rissa (my planner from Scheme) wasn't just my organizer, my reminder, my designer, or my check-list keeper. She became my friend, my wedding diary, my calm to my wedding freak-outs.

First off, the Scheme gals have impeccable style and tastes. I had the good fortune to meet all of Scheme's planners during our first meeting and they all showed up prompt and looking fab. Their office was modern and high-end. Everything was thought out and meticulously styled. If you're wondering if their design eye and attention to detail was beneficial in wedding planning, I'll tell you, "TOTALLY." That was actually one of the most noted compliment from my wedding. People kept saying, "i LOVED the attention to detail." I felt guilty for saying thank you, because I knew it was ALL SCHEME.

Also, I've seen many otherwise cool, calm, and collected brides lose all their cool, calm, and collectedness over the years as the big day approached. I don't even know where to start to show my appreciation for Rissa from Scheme Events. She worked with me for over a year putting our wedding together and it was amazing! She is super professional, very sweet, and able to work miracles no matter what crazy things popped up in our planning! I'm a guy. I knew what I wanted and the rest didn't really matter. I wanted people to have fun at my wedding. I wanted the wedding to look tasteful and nice. And I wanted my soon-to-be Wife to not have a mental breakdown. Thanks to Scheme, I'm happy to report that I got all that I wanted!

Rissa was exceptional and very professional in handling all the scheduling, details, and questions. Everything she said she would do, she did it and she did it gracefully. She really took the heat off of me by being the Wife's right hand woman. I was able to fly under the radar a lot of the time because Rissa knew all the details. (Thanks Rissa!)

Rissa also listened and paid close attention to our different styles. I really like wood grain and citrus. The Wife likes everything except pink and feathers, so we had lots of stylistic elements we wanted to incorporate into the wedding. After being frustrated with wedding planning for a long time, I decided to call Scheme Events. The woman on the phone was Tara, one of Scheme’s lead planners. After one quick chat with Tara I knew I had to convince my husband Chris that we needed to get a wedding planner. I spoke to Chris about it, and surprisingly he was on board. I didn't have to convince him though, Scheme proved then and there that we needed them in our life! I was in way over my head, trying to plan a wedding and a honeymoon while I was in school. From the moment we walked into Scheme’s office we felt a wave of relief swoosh over us. Tara was going to be our coordinator. She and her perfectly manicured three prong binder were our saving grace. She had an answer for everything, a timeline, ideas, and a plan of attack! Tara listened to my ideas and ran with them. I had a vision. I wanted elegance with a little garden vibe. It was like Tara was in my brain! She knew how to fill in the gaps where I was lacking. She understood that I wanted a level of formality while still maintaining that fun and personal vibe. Francesca and Rissa from Scheme Events were our day off coordinators for our wedding. They made our lives so much easier and smoother by taking charge of all the little details concerning our day. Seriously, I don't know what we would've done without them coordinating things with all our vendors and taking charge of setting things up at our venue. Everything went so smoothly on that day and they helped us stick to our schedule as planned. They even helped with the clean up process even though that was not part of their jobs but because we had a vendor who slacked off on their duties. The Scheme team is really the Dream team.

From the first call with Scheme, I knew that I wanted them as part of my wedding day. Within a couple of hours of sending an email inquiry, Rissa has called me to discuss my wedding and their services. We continued to correspond and then met at Springs Preserve when I was visiting Las Vegas.

Rissa was a complete joy to deal with and although I had booked them only for Day of Coordination, she provided a wonderful listing of their preferred vendors (who all turned out to be superstars) to help me in my planning.

One month prior to the wedding as included in the Day of Coordination package, Tara from Scheme contacted me and introduced herself as the planner for my event. I provided her all of my planning details and she created a thorough production schedule for the day. Tara is organized, kind, and calming - exactly the type of person you want to be working with as you plan your wedding.

Being an event planner for work, I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to enjoy my wedding day thinking about all of the little details. But Tara assured me that they would take care of everything. And they sure did.

I worked with Rissa Gunderson while planning my destination wedding in Las Vegas & I am truly more grateful for her than I can ever express in a review. During the year long process of planning, she was incredibly helpful, responsive, excited and understanding of the difficulty of planning a destination wedding. On our wedding day, Rissa, Tracy and Kara handled it all like the pros that they are & never missed a beat. Rissa brought my vision alive and executed it beautifully. I was able to enjoy every minute of the day with my bridesmaids and it was the best gift of all. I floated around our wedding socializing with loved ones & dancing the night away while Rissa worked her magic. There was even a point that the bustle on my dress broke and Rissa was right there with practically a tool kit to put me back together:) One of my favorite moments was when I took the short walk alone to meet my parents who were walking me down the aisle & those last seconds were spent with Rissa & her team. My husband and I live in Montreal, but we decided to get married in Las Vegas. It would have been a disaster if we didn't have Traci from Scheme Events on our side.
Throughout the entire process, she was always available, professional and continually gave us great ideas.
When it came to the actual day, her team handled everything and made sure all of our guests had a wonderful time. Our guests always knew where they were supposed to be and everything seemed to happen naturally and effortlessly.

If there were room for 6 stars, I would give 6! Scheme Events was just INCREDIBLE. I wasn't sure if I needed a wedding planner but decided to go ahead with it. Why would someone so A type, organized, and needing to keep her fingers in everything going on benefit from a wedding planner? Well, thank goodness I did! The VALUE it added to our wedding was worth every cent, times 10. We had no stress, no worries, and everything went super smooth, all because of Rissa (our planner from scheme) and her team. Everyone always says your wedding day goes by so fast and you have no time to absorb it. I really feel like I got to enjoy my day because of scheme. I had no worries of logistics, timeline, vendors, set up, take down, or anything! I got to just be a bride for the day. When people ask me if I think they need a wedding planner, my answer is always a resounding yes. You are purchasing your sanity when you go with scheme! We hired Scheme Events about 6 months before our wedding date. We were assigned Traci and she was fabulous! She took the time to listen to our vision and helped us feel at ease every step of the way. Due to the fact that we lived about 1000 miles away, we could only fly out twice. Therefore, during each visit she set up the day with a full itinerary to accomplish as much as possible. In-between visits she kept in constant contact with us via text and email. She picked amazing vendors and which made our wedding day relaxing and fun! Most importantly, we just wanted our friends and family to have an amazing time and Scheme Events delivered exactly this. One of the best decisions I made last year (aside from saying I Do to the love of my life) was selecting the ladies from Scheme Events to bring my wedding vision to life! From the first communication all the way through hugs at the end of the reception, Traci and the ladies at Scheme impressed me with their patience, knowledge, style, and organization.

As an event planner myself, I knew that I didn't want to be bogged down with details, but I most certainly had an opinion... about everything. Traci's ability to listen to my vision ensured that when I didn't have the time to be involved (or didn't want to know about the details) that she was able to jump in and make the perfect decision for our event. The style and sweet touches she added to the day were the very best!

The vendor recommendations from Orange Soda Photography (geniuses) to Gimme Some Sugar Bake Shoppe (amazing) and She Paperie (a true artist) were top notch and I always felt reassured when they said we were working with the best... I couldn't agree more!

I started planning my Vegas wedding last September and thought I could plan a destination wedding from the east coast on my own. I made a trip to Las Vegas and scheduled several appointments with various venues. Even an organized person like me became overwhelmed quickly and I realized I needed to fit a wedding planner in the budget if we were going to have a destination wedding.

After reading tons of reviews and doing some research (check out their blog and website), I scheduled a phone consultation with Rissa. She and I hit it off right away. She helped me so much and gave me so many tips without even knowing I was going to hire Scheme. I quickly decided that I couldn't plan my wedding without these ladies.

Tara then became my lead planner and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner and person to plan my dream wedding. She never made me feel that my wedding wasn't important or that she was too busy for me. I honestly felt like she was only planning my wedding when in the meantime, I know she was very busy with her other clients. Tara is a great listener, extremely professional and full of ideas… not to mention a ton of fun to be around. I probably had some crazy requests for things I wanted to fit into our wedding weekend and wedding budget but somehow Tara made things happen and literally fit everything in.

The moment I will always remember is when Tara and I ran a few errands on the Thursday before the wedding (our wedding was on Sunday). When we finished, she looked at me and told me to go and enjoy my wedding weekend because my part was done and it was her job the rest of the weekend. If I didn’t have Tara and Scheme, I would have been stressed out up until the minute I walked down the aisle. If I could have a “repeat” of one weekend of my life, it would absolutely be my wedding weekend and wedding day. My husband and I had the time of our life...we highly recommend Scheme Events! Where do I begin...I LOVE SCHEME EVENTS!!!!!!!! Ladies (and gents) do yourself a favor and call the Scheme girls right now. I had the privilege of working with Rissa Gunderson and it was truly the best experience! My fiancé and I had been engaged for almost year when I finally realized that I needed help and that's when I found Scheme. I sent in an inquiry through their website and within just a few hours I was on the phone with Rissa setting up a time to meet in person. We clicked instantly and I didn't even consider meeting with anyone else.

When I look back now on the wedding planning experience I have a huge smile on my face because I wasn't stressed out or overwhelmed. Rissa is super fun, creative, amazingly organized, and just down right awesome at her job and that goes for the rest of the Scheme Team as well!

In the last 5 weeks since our wedding I have had so many people reach out to me and say it was the BEST wedding they have ever been too and I give all of that credit to Rissa!

I could actually go on forever about how great my experience was - I seriously miss working with Rissa (she became so much more than my wedding planner during this process - which is probably the most important thing!!)

Working with Scheme Events was one of the best decisions I made! We started working with Tara about six months prior to our destination wedding in Vegas and from day one she was totally and completely on top of it. I'm a very detailed oriented person and she was a fantastic match. Not only does Scheme know and work with all of the top vendors in Vegas, but they take the time to select the perfect vendors to deliver on your personal vision. Tara was also incredibly personable, funny, calming and just a pleasure to be around.
We could not be happier with the end product - our wedding was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and we owe it all to Tara/Scheme. Even some last minute requests for blankets (it was an unusually cool day in Vegas) the morning of my wedding and then shifting some details around at the actual wedding were met with a "happy to do" attitude.
