I'm Andy, a wedding photographer specialising in candid, natural, relaxed and unposed documentary wedding photography.
The way I work leads to a collection of images that really take you back to your wedding day and when viewing the images you can feel the emotion captured in the images and have those wedding day feelings come rushing back.
I believe a wedding should flow, it should be a day enjoyed by everyone; and my natural style is to follow the day as it happens, and to capture those special moments whether it be friends being reunited or surprise family guests.

What do you love most about your job?
People being people - real life.
Moments that happen naturally and not staged - you will look back on these moments and you will remember the moment, not the pose or position you were put in. I believe in shooting the wedding from the inside out, to shoot as a friend and a guest; this helps me capture the story of your special day, show you the fun, emotion and great times you, your family and friends had. I don't believe in hiding and shooting from distance,
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started as most photographers do - shooting a friends wedding - I did loads! I soon realised that people connected with my emotional and fun work and that I might be on to something!
I look at other people's styles and I looked at how flat, boring and one dimensional 90% of wedding photography has become.
I knew that I didn't want to be a traditional wedding photographer - all the posing, all the shouting, all the interfering! I wanted to shoot images that I enjoy looking at - I wanted to shoot in my own relaxed, candid and unobtrusive style.
Why should our clients choose you?
They should choose me based on my work - it shouldn't be price, it shouldn't be because of offers; if you like my work - drop me an email and we can have a chat about how I work and if that fits in with your wedding.
If you want beautiful, non intrusive, relaxed and emotional wedding photography - take a look at my work, if you want your wedding to be stop start, long pauses throughout the day whilst waiting for the next photo, guests constantly being asked to pose for photos - I'm not the photographer for you; there are plenty of other photographers out there who will do a better job at that then me!
My wedding style has been described by some as documentary, but most wedding photographers fall into this one way or the other. I've been described as someone who really captures moments that last, and who doesn't intrude on peoples special day - I like this one. For me the way I take pictures at wedding's is by blending in with family and friends and capturing the moments from the view of one of your guests. What I have learned from photographing weddings is people want you there, but not to close as to impact on the day and making the guests aware that you are taking pictures. People also don't want you to far away, as guest will feel they are being spied on; which can mean natural happy moments don't happen. A wedding should flow, it should be a day enjoyed by everyone, my natural style is to follow the day as it happens, to capture those special moments whether it be friends being reunited or surprise family guests. I don't take many pictures where I pose people, its should be natural as the day happens. I include group pictures as part of all my wedding packages, and I will always take these pictures, but I do encourage people too not have too many group shots as it really can slow the day down and the wedding flow of your day can be lost.
