I really can't thank Andy enough, he was a pleasure to work with from the very first time I contacted him about possibly photographing our wedding. He answered all of our questions no matter how small as if they were the most important issue. The photos we’ve got back have blown us away! He captured moments of the day that escaped us, as well as all the important bits which is be memories for years to come. Andy is without a doubt an incredibly kind, thoughtful, detailed, intuitive, methodical, knowledgeable and excellent photographer. We found Andy through his website and from the moment we contacted him, Andy was helpful and honest. He captured so many special moments throughout our wedding day - moments we didn't even realise we were in, until we saw the photos. Andy is very light-footed (you really won't know he's there!) and true to his candid, documentary style, he really followed our entire wedding journey. Andy spent a fair amount of time speaking with us before the wedding and the photos show that he got to know us and what mattered to us. I have no words for how absolutely fantastic Andy is as a wedding photographer. We found an advert for him on Facebook, and I'm beyond grateful we did!

Firstly, Andy is ridiculously punctual at getting back to you - I think he's replied to my messages the same day every time. I can't describe how helpful this is when you're planning a wedding! And there is no question too small, no problem he can't conquer to get you the best day possible, and no bit of advice he misses sharing with you to ensure you get the best photos possible!

Andy was extremely thorough before our wedding, but on the day he was absolutely amazing. We hardly noticed he was there, he just mingled and took photos of absolutely everything for us. He went above and beyond for us, even offering to take things to the venue in his car for us! Even our venue were commenting on how he'd stayed later than any photographer they had known before, and how lovely he had been in dealing with the staff there. He moved heaven and earth to make sure he was on our bus from the church to the venue so we could see what happened on the bus, even though it was completely inconvenient for him to do so, and we really appreciated how thoughtful he was in all the details of our day.

Andy was then in contact with us promptly after our wedding, and the photos came extremely quickly. And if we had been impressed so far, that was nothing to the photos we got at the end. They are absolutely stunning, and the story he's been able to tell with the subtle little bits of our day, like catching a relative that rarely smiles smiling, or my Dad having a bit of a cry, and there were some absolutely stunning art like shots that I really wasn't expecting but that really made the photographs for us. We hadn't even known he was there most of the time, but what he'd made in the end was magical. Every shot we'd wanted was there, and any we'd discussed with him before were covered. He even bought lighting equipment so we could have photos at dusk at the venue, and they came out brilliantly.

As I said at the start, I don't think words can sum up how amazing Andy is. He is one of the nicest people that we've ever met, and is so humble with how talented he is. His price is more than reasonable, and his dedication to getting exactly what you want from your wedding photos is second to none. We have had so many of our guests and the staff coming up to tell us how lovely he was too, which is exactly what we'd noticed. Andy was everything we wanted from a photographer for our wedding day. Having never done it before we didn't really know where to start but we did know that we wanted something very minimal. Andy was perfect, he took the time to get to know us and talked about the process of the day and how he would fit in. No fuss, no frills, no interfering, I didn't even notice he was there apart from the very few obligatory posed photos! He captured the day so perfectly and we are overwhelmed by not only the quality of the photos but the number of great photos we have to choose from. Andy's documentary style photography captured our relaxed wedding day and lots special moments between us and our guests. He took the time to get to know us and what we wanted before the big day . Andy was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer, he was everything we were after and captured our day beautifully! Every step before the big day was well organised and we knew exactly what to expect. Andy made everyone feel relaxed, especially the morning of the wedding. A wedding day starts and finishes in what feels like a blink an eye. Having Andy capture the reality of this short blink was such a blessing. Through his use of discrete cameras and artful awareness he saw all that we missed and more. To be able to blend into the guests and capture their smiles, tears, jokes and movements was nothing short of becoming invisible to everyone. Having used an ordinary public bus service too - not an issue - Andy dashed about through traffic to capture it all. Our photographs are the most beautiful record of a wonderful day. The personal touches, the time spent getting to know us prior to the event and the speed in which photographs were presented to us cannot be faulted. We couldn't have gotten a more perfect photographer for our wedding. We didn't have a big, fancy wedding. We wanted to keep it feeling fairly casual, fun and relaxed, and we both hate huge staged photos. We met Andy in person before the wedding and he seems like a really relaxed guy, very confident with what he's doing! He took absolutely incredible photos which captured everything perfectly. There were loads of little moments throughout the day which we hope to always remember, and Andy did a fantastic job of appearing in the background to capture it in that moment. Andy was exceptional, I cannot fault his service, he truly went above and beyond to provide us with first class wedding photography that we love. Andy is so much more than just a photographer, which you don't even realise until you talk to your guests after or look at you gorgeous images, for us.. a small example was Andy found the time to walk our bunch of crazy dogs at the wedding reception with my bridesmaid and caught some awesome images of the pooches in their element. His style is exactly what I wanted. Andy will capture all of the elements of the day, so those moments you miss in person you can look on with fondness later on. I personally felt he captured our day in such a way I felt like I was reliving it as a guest afterwards, his shots are great you really see the fun and laughter in the day and it reassured me that our guests had as much of a great day as we did. Something else I noticed when we received our album is that Andy really is every where, he has taken some great photos of us where I didn't even know he was there. A stealth photographer. As for speed of service, you simply cant fault his turn around, Andy did his upmost to have our images turned around so quickly, I think they were waiting when we returned home from our honeymoon which was perfect to take away the post holiday blues. Andy is a talented, professional and thoughtful photographer. The photos from our day feel natural and are real documents of the event. We got married in May and chose Andy as our photographer after getting a message from him through Bark and seeing his Facebook page. ...and we were not disappointed. Andy is very friendly guy and spoke to me at length on the phone initially. He was not a salesman at all and put no pressure on me but I decided I wanted to have him from very early on!! When we met him, again he was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable.

On the actual day, Andy blended in with the guests and looking back, I hardly remember seeing him but he has taken some AMAZING photos, which were better than I could have imagined. We had a slightly haphazard wedding with not much structure and Andy stayed well into the evening catching lots of wonderful moments for us. I can't recommend him enough - if you want to really capture how the day goes and get a story of what happened, Andy can do that for you.

We came across Andy on a Facebook advert and having reviewed his portfolio online decided to meet up to discuss options and have a pre wedding shoot.

At the pre wedding shoot Andy made great use of the local area, taking some lovely practice pictures. He also paid attention to other things...we were talking about playing Pokemon Go while walking round, and lo and behold, one of the pictures from the pre shoot had a pikachu photoshopped into it, a genuinely funny and nice touch!

On the wedding day itself we couldn't have asked for more. Andy arrived and immediately set to work capturing the morning with my wife and bridesmaids getting ready. The shots were well composed and conveyed the story of the morning.

For the ceremony itself Andy put us at ease before the formal proceedings and also took candid pictures throughout. He knew instinctively who the important people in the party were and managed to get all of them into the album.

At the reception Andy really came into his own. The essence of the day was that it should be relaxed and informal with a good party at the end. Again, the candid shots were the best, and when we reviewed the photos we were very happy with the quality and the feeling that we were back there again. Towards the end of the reception Andy arranged to print off a few small keepsake photos which we weren't expecting and was a nice touch.

After the day Andy put all the pictures on his website but still the good service didn't stop! He went round to my Father in Laws house to drop off a framed print and also came round to deliver our own DVD which came in a lovely presentation box.

We can't recommend Andy highly enough, he was professional yet relaxed enough to put as at ease, always there yet never imposing and provided great service from start to finish. If you are looking for a photographer stop your search now and get in contact with him, you won't regret it! More...
