One of the most fantastic experience of my life. I went out on a beautiful day in the end of July and could not have asked for a better time. The water was nice and refreshing, the company was wonderful, and our guide, Addy, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of the area and rafting in general, and told some nice knee-slappin' jokes along the way. If you love white water rafting this is the company I would definitely recommend to those who are new to this or have some experience. There was only two #3 rapids and the guides were excellent. Had such a great time out on a rafting half day trip (plus lunch) on the Salmon river. Super fun experience, can't recommend them enough! Finishing with a delicious lunch by a campfire with hot cocoa was a very nice touch on a day that was a little bit chilly. We had such a great time on the Class III Family Raft Adventure on the Salmon! Check-in was organized and efficient, and the employees sharing safety and other information on bus ride to the river made it entertaining. Our guide (Cody) was fantastic and full of information about the wildlife and environment! We went in early July and rapids were a bit mild for our group of six adults - the Class IV option may have been more suitable for us. Lunch was at a great location and was delicious. Just got back after an amazing day on the Salmon river with Sawtooth Adventure Co. The day couldn’t have been more perfect. We started off at the fly shop in town where we got our life jackets and headed into the bus. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat! The short ride took us to the “put in” where we received our safety instructions and paddles. Our guide, Addy, was fantastic. I hadn’t been on a river in over 25 years so felt a little anxious. But with her reassurance and expertise, felt completely at ease. We enjoyed learning about the nature surrounding the area as well as riding through the rapids. Lunch was delicious as well. We had a big group in Stanley for a family reunion with several anglers interested in some fly fishing. SAC set our 8 anglers up with four boats and four guides. I went whitewater rafting here. It was an extremely unique and enjoyable experience. The guides were very helpful and friendly and I loved it. Unfortunately, I think our pictures could have been better. Half of them were from behind and the other group seemed to have a total of 10 more pictures than us. Eight of us took a multi-age family raft trip down the Salmon River with Sawtooth Adventure Company in July, 2018. To get information, we initially spoke directly with them by phone. They were helpful with suggestions and options to consider. We looked at their website which was very informative. From this contact, we finalized our booking. Any concerns were promptly addressed. When the date came and we arrived at the Sawtooth Adventure cabin in Stanley, Idaho, the personnel were welcoming, friendly, and ready to assist with any last-minute questions before rafting. On the trip, the guides were experienced as well as personable. Because of them our grandkids (ages 13 and 15) would like to become future raft guides! Sawtooth Adventure Company was fantastic!  My family and I went on the half day trip ("family raft adventure without lunch") of class II and III rapids, and had a lot of fun.  Although we booked the trip without lunch, the guides brought yummy snacks for a quick break in the mountains: watermelon, granola bars, pretzels, and homemade chocolate chip cookies.  Those cookies were some of the best I've ever had!Our guide, Stephanie, was super fun and friendly.  She made our trip even better! We had the time of our lives. We would definitely recommend the kayaks. Even though we screamed our way through piece of cake the first rapid we managed to stay in our kayaks. The girl guides we're full of knowledge and obviously loved their jobs. Food was surprisingly good. They even let us leave our with them as we had no place to leave her.
