We've been holding our holiday celebration/party at The Flagstaff House for the past twelve years or so. We hold it in their small private room (The Vintner's Room) so, admittedly, we're not getting the typical/average dining experience. However, having said that, the combination of outstanding food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, willingness to accommodate special requests for our event, and, of course, the spectacular view of Boulder (see photo) keeps us coming back year after year. In the more distant past we held it at a number of other restaurants but, since "discovering" The Flagstaff House we've had no reason to go anywhere else.There are, however, two caveats I should mention. First, The Flagstaff House definitely fits the old saying "You get what you pay for.". Or, to turn this on it's head, you pay for what you get. Depending on your means you may want to budget for your dinner/event ahead of time. I know I do. However, to me it's well worth it!Second, in the past couple years The Flagstaff House has changed it's menu format from a more-or-less traditional format consisting of a "First Course" (20 or so more-or-less appetizer like items), a "Main Course" (15 or so more-or-less entree-like items), desserts, and other miscellaneous items. The new format is available on their web-site so I won't say much other than that of the two overall options (the "Three Course Menu" and the "Chef's Tasting Menu") the The Three Course Menu is most like a conventional menu but only has about 20 main items vs. the 35 or so on the older menu. I preferred the older format but Your Mileage May Definitely Vary. Most expensive meal we've ever had ($300 all told), but the food and service were exceptional. We came here for our second anniversary. They had menu's with our names printed on the front! Okay, sure.. that's not a particularly expensive thing for them to do, but it was surprising and delightful, and an indicator of the experience we were about to have. Each dish was small but there were many of them and we came away just the right amount of full. Some of the dishes were totally surprising in how well the elements went together -- things I never had tasted together before. Sauces were excellent. Servers were attentive and pleasant. The view over Boulder was also beautiful. This isn't somewhere we could afford to go to often, but it's now my top recommendation for special occasions in Boulder. More...

We used Savory for our wedding 8/2019 and it was the best choice we could have made!The food is phenomenal, locally sourced and created with love and attention to detail. They were very accommodating with my requests and it was pretty affordable for a full service catering experience.The staff for our wedding were all very helpful and friendly and really made sure our guests were taken care of. We also hired a day of coordinator through Savory who helped ensure the layout and decor we envisioned for our wedding came to life. From A-Z Cat, and the crew at Savory Cuisine have your work event covered! We were incredibly lucky to try a new catering company for a large work event this year. Cat was fabulous and worked with us every step of the way (holding our hands and asking questions we didn't even know we needed to be asking). Even with planning for months, things change on a dime and the friendly and professional crew at Savory Cuisine were able to make miracles happen day of the event (they even shared their work space at the event so that I could do last minute flower arrangements). Their attention to detail and the care they put in to everything they do is very evident. Not to mention, the food was to die for! Save room for desert because the cookies are not to be missed. I use Savory for our weekly office lunches. The quality of service I receive from everyone in the organization is outstanding. Their corporate menu has fantastic variety - we have been using them for over 3 months, 3 lunches a week, and have not had a repeat meal yet. They are very flexible and accommodating for any dietary restriction requests you could have. I find them to be a very cost effective way to feed our office. We were able to get a reservation, sadly we couldn't sit outside because of rain, but the staff was able to get us a table at the window :-).
