Recently joined this gym as I moved to the local area, was with Pure Gym in St Paul's and had to decide whether to commute then gym or gym then commute. I had a free day trial here and decided to join. Pros: Gym is quiet in the morning when I go 6:45-7:45am so no waiting around for equipment like at St Paul's Pure GymExcellent, powerful showers you can actually control the temperature! (Unlike Pure Gym showers) including free shower gelLarge changing rooms with large lockers with hangers to hang things up inWeights go up to 60kg (not that I need those yet)It's all on one floor so no climbing stairs to go to other machines or get a drink (St Paul's Pure gym..)Staff have all been friendly and helpful so far. The free 2 hour parking service is extremely useful..The gym has all the facilities you need ( ie.treadmills, weight machines, areas to do body exercises, sauna and steam room). The showers are modern and the lockers have a sufficient amount of space to store your belongings. I've been with this gym for three years now.The membership fees have been reduced since the gym changed from fitness first to better.I was paying £47 per month while the gym was owned by fitness first. It's now only £24.95. I can see myself staying with this gym for the next couple of years.It would be worth staying if one of the female members eventually takes up my offer to meet up for coffee!! Just joined the gym, my first impression is it's a good good choice of a gym. The showers need a good clean up, smelt a bit mouldy.

I have been meaning to go to the gym 7 years ago. Never had the time, could not be bothered... mention any excuse, I gave it.

Finally, I grew up and decided it was time. I did not want to spend a lot of money but did not want to go to a cheap place either. I needed a gym where I would be surrounded by professionals and be part of a team; where I would not feel left out nor intimidated by others.

This place, I found it and to my relative's despair, FF is all I talk about. I love the classes, the environment, the staff, the people...
