I am a petite, 60-something graphic designer who did not learn how to use tools in my youth. I have been diligently taking their workshops so I am able to use their equipment safely. So far I am now qualified to use the laser cutter, vinyl decal cutter, 3-D printer, woodworking shop and the CNC wood router. More courses are available all the time. I appreciated getting a good grounding on the various tools, it raises my confidence - but suggest you come prepared to take notes. Saskatoon Makerspace cofounder Devon Plett is always open to feedback and is serious about creating a space where people can "come together and make good things."
