I used Sarasota Catering Company for a very small (14 guests) private dinner, I was a little wary as I had never used them before, but they were the only ones that didn't balk at doing such a small event. Everything was ready on time, warm and well wrapped, All I had to do was take off lids and set in warming trays.
Everything was excellent! We had mushrooms stuffed with bacon and cheese - There was not one left after three minutes, Artichoke and spinach dip - beautifully presented and so yummy, and Brie "bunnies" cute looking and GONE! The main course vegetables were very well cooked and seasoned, the Seafood lasanga was a huge hit, but oh my gosh - the Tenderloin! OUT of this world! perfect temperature, wonderfully seasoned and so incredibly tender, most people didn't use knifes. When I first saw it, I thought there would be plenty for sandwiches the next day. Sadly I was wrong, (I think the ladies were stuffing it in their purses once they couldn't eat any more). The bread pudding and fruit skewers were also lovely, but rather wasted I'm afraid, no-one could eat more than a few bites - They were packed up and sent home with everyone and very much appreciated the next day! I live in Arizona and got married on Siesta Key Beach, June 7, 2017. I had a small affair and was looking for a catering company to come to our condo. Trying to organize a wedding from a distance is stressful but Sarasota Catering was Amazing! Lance and Rita were fabulous to work with. Everything went like clockwork. Deliveries arrived when they were scheduled with everything in order. Considering I did not plan for rain, Sarasota Catering Company adjusted to my change of venue. The room looked beautiful. They made sure everything was perfect. They had table arrangements and a beverage station to fit my beach theme. Every guest stated how delicious the meal was. Our day was perfect! My husband and I used Sarasota Catering Company for our wedding on May 6, 2017! Sarasota Catering Company exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff made sure that myself and my husband got to try the appetizers and continued to bring us drinks while we were away doing photos. Our wedding guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and how pleasant everyone on the Catering staff was. Sashi was our day of Coordinator and hands down the best! We could not have had such an amazing, well organized wedding without the help of Sashi. Sashi was responsive days before the wedding when other vendors where requesting additional items and little changes had to be made. Sashi helped us on rehearsal night instructing the wedding party on order and providing us with information on traditional weddings and how to conduct the ceremony. Sashi stuck to our timeline and made the whole day and evening run smoothly. Sashi made sure that we had to go boxes of food, which was a request from us, to take back to our hotel that evening. Sashi set up all our DIY wedding decor and communicated with all vendors. The venue we rented had strict rules requiering us to be out within an hour after the reception. After send off my family said they came back inside the reception area and it was already 75% cleaned up and that they got out of there in time and everyone was very satisified with the clean up experience. Sarasota Catering sales staff, management, chefs and wait staff always provide a wonderful experience for guests whether it is a small luncheon for 25, a Celebration of Life luncheon, wedding or a themed party of 125!

Their package prices are great and Sashi and Rita are a pleasure to work with.
Think Local - Use Locally owned businesses! Located at 6544 Superior Avenue, in the best little retail, dining and everything else area known as "Gulf Gate," off Stickney Point Drive and Gateway.

We have contracted Sarasota Catering Company for luncheons, Holiday Parties, a Love Boat/Casino Nite event and most recently, a Margaritaville theme event for 118. Their package pricing can't be beat!

We just returned from my son's destination wedding in Sarasota, FL and it was a wonderful week starting with our Welcome Party for close to 100 guests. I hired Sarasota Catering long distance, and was impressed with every detail from start to finish. It was so nice to show up at the venue and have Nikki in full control. Her team was amazing and very professional. My son wanted the Barbecue and Sliders and they were wonderful. The entire menu was outstanding including the salad bar, macaroni and desserts! Yummy! And the leftover food fed all the groomsmen before the wedding. I have never had sliders taste just as good the next day after being microwaved. Hats off to Sarasota Catering for an outstanding job! I hired Sarasota Catering to provide food and libations for my husband’s 65th birthday party. We had about 65 guests and provided heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. What can I say, really? Sarasota Catering Company and Sashi, in particular, was just absolutely amazing. Sashi was our day of coordinator but she helped us in the very beginning as well, explaining how it all worked, going through the menus and answering questions, setting up our tasting, etc. For the day of she was just fantastic. She was on top of everything and worked really hard to make our day special. All of the catering staff for the day of was fabulous. They were all extremely helpful and friendly. We even had to deal with a little bit of rain and they handled that smoothly as well. My now husband commented that he thought our wedding looked like one of those million dollar weddings you see on tv. And I totally agreed - everything loooked so nice and put together. We are so happy with our experience with Sarasota Catering Company. From our initial phone call to the end of our event, they provided five star service! ! So happy that I chose this company for our wedding! Started off searching for just food, but super convenient that the vendor rentals were also booked thru them. Sashi, day one, answered any questions I had and gave so much detail to the process! Super patient and friendly discussing my options since I was being very hands on with planning. She worked so hard to set up my decor, and the day schedule went smoothly! They have so many food options! We chose the Caribbean buffet package, and they were flexible with substituting sides. Servers were super friendly, they always had a smile on their face, while working their butts off to set up, serve and clean. If you are planning an event this company is by far the easiest and most professional company I have worked with to date. Rita helped me organize a party on the beach in siesta key and it went perfectly . She even went so far as to visit the site and plan the agenda according to my specifications. She was flexible with price and made every effort to make my experience positive. The staff was attentive, timely, and best of all personable. Honestly, we had the most amazing experience. The staff was so nice, accommodating, and went above and beyond with their service. We used Sarasota Catering for our wedding and both the food and service were unbelievable! We selected the Caribbean menu for our wedding and we got so many compliments on how good everything was. The fish, chicken nuggets, and sweet pepper corn bread were our guests favorites! We worked with Rita in the office and she was very helpful and accommodating when selecting items from the menu. I hired Sarasota Catering Company to cater food for my baseball team - 2 meals a day for 4 days (8 meals total). The food was wonderful! The guys raved about the food, which they don't do often.
