We were very happy with the service provided by Sarah's Carers up to when my husband went into residential care. Over the last two years, they have provided a reliable and caring service, with flexibility as my husband's needs have changed. We have had mainly daytime personal care and weekly respite care to allow me time for shopping and meeting friends . The team is well managed and well chosen, friendly, warm, professional and understanding of the stresses the caring partner experiences too, as well as understanding the person with PD and dementia.They became valued friends. What do you love most about your job?
I’m proud to say, that we’ve helped hundreds of people ensuring that, no matter what, they are well-cared for in their own homes for as long as possible. And I know that as a team we’ve contributed to making a real difference in those people’s lives and those around them at a time when help is needed most.
Helping us live up to our values are a brilliant team of carers without whom this would not be possible. I am even more proud of what they all achieve, under often challenging circumstances on a daily basis.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Sarah’s Carers was formed out of a desire to prove that care at home could be provided in a way that provides the care team with a great work environment and the clients with the care that makes a positive difference to them.
Why should our clients choose you?
You may not know exactly what tasks you want help with, but you’ll know that you want your care delivered with respect, dignity and compassion. If you’ve used a care company before then you’ll know that it’s more than just the delivery of care that’s important, it’s also about how the service is managed.
