I was in a wedding where Sarah did the flowers - they were absolutely gorgeous! She did the arbor, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, and so much more. The flowers were perfect and her selections of the actual stems were so beautiful and such unusual combinations. It was also an outdoor event on a 90+ degree day and she put everything out exactly the right time so it lasted all night- even the bouquets. The flowers at my wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Sarah, of Sarah’s Floral Design, creates amazing arrangements using top quality fresh flowers. She is truly an artist who is not only talented but is also incredibly knowledgeable about flowers. She helped me get over using unseasonable blooms and educated me about other beautiful options, such as ranunculus, thistle, roses, and mums. She and her partner, Matt, travelled from Boston to my venue in Connecticut and worked tirelessly to create many floral pieces including my beautiful bridal bouquet featuring creamy pink and ivory roses, deep red ranunculus, blue succulents, beautiful tiny blue flowers and foraged blackberries to remember our beloved grandparents. She adorned my dad’s sculptural ‘arbor’ mandala with beautiful floral pieces, constructed the cutest succulent boutonnieres for our groomsmen, put together full and beautiful bridesmaid bouquets that complemented mine-oh and the sweetest tiny bouquet for our one-year old flower girl, I had a lovely hair comb, and each of my tables had an array of exquisite arrangements. My wedding was on July 4th, and she handled my color scheme: crimson, cream, and slate blue/navy (ahem…red, white, and blue) in such a beautiful and natural way. Sarah was available throughout the whole planning process, she delivered everything I asked for and more. Her skill level is superior and I had many guests tell me how beautiful all the flowers were. Sarah and Matt did the centerpieces for an event of mine and they came out fabulously. I had a very specific vision and they created exactly what I wanted. I’ve had bad experiences with florists in the past, but Sarah really took the time to create something wonderful. The centerpieces were the highlight of the event.
