Many decades ago I broke my tailbone in an accident and have suffered chronic pain in various parts of my back ever since. Having tried many types of treatment at other Practices over the years, I started to see Ami a few years back. He treated me intensely for a while and the difference he has made to my comfort and therefore my life in general has been quite remarkable. In between my appointments with him, which are now more spread out, I also see the wonderful Aisha for Osteopathy, and Robert for Acupuncture. The combination works perfectly for me and I am so grateful to them all. More...

I have been a long term client of the Good Health Centre and in particular Ami Sevi. My mobility is far superior now as to when I first attended many years ago. Recently I had a pain in my pelvis resulting from surgery seven years ago, and was convinced it required further surgery, but after a couple of treatments from Ami they pain has gone. More...

I rent a room from the Good Health Centre on a sessional basis for my hypnotherapy practice : outrunanxiety. I have attended the centre myself as a patient in the past and the experience was great. Terrific location, parking and the most inviting reception area . I am delighted to be able to work from there now. The staff are so very professional and very supportive. The facilities are perfect for me : delightful warm room with ambient lighting , consultation desk and therapy couch. Access to hot and cold drinks. Extensive opening hours , including evenings and Saturdays. A privilege to be associated with such an established multi disciplinary health provider in Roundhay. More...

Aisha Mir has transformed my life ... and my back! An injury whilst skiing had left me unable to walk for long distances, go to the gym or even just get out of bed without groaning in agony. After 5 years of almost constant back pain (and numerous visits to physiotherapists, injections, chiropractors, pilates instructors, massage specialists etc) I had almost give up hope of ever being pain free again. A chance meeting at a party led me to give the Good Health Centre a try. From the start, Aisha made a huge difference. Her hands-on, holistic approach to treatment and her constant encouragement and faith that I could be pain free once again made an instant impression on me. Initially I saw her twice a week as I was in so much pain which rapidly reduced to once a week and then fortnightly by the end of the second month. Aisha encouraged me to incorporate some simple stretches into my every day life - and to start exercising (carefully!) whilst continuing the osteopathy. Within 3 months - I was going to the gym twice a week - and after 4 months - I went skiing and had an amazing time. I am now totally pain free - and back pain is truly a thing of the past. I still see Aisha every 6 weeks to ensure I catch any little niggles and always appreciate her calm and positive approach - as well as her healing hands. I would recommend Aisha and the Good Health Centre to anyone that needs expert help and support after a sports injury. More...

Aisha Mir treated my 6 month old daughter after a traumatic birth and ongoing problems with sleeping, feeding, crying and settling. Aisha was professional but warm and made us both feel at ease. She really listened to my concerns and then explained the cranial osteopathy treatment well. The change in my little girl was noticable after 2 weeks. Her sleep is vastly improved, going from waking up to 10 times a night with lots of crying and screaming to just one wake up and quickly settling back to sleep. Her mood is brighter with far fewer crying episodes and she is much calmer when feeding, being dressed and travelling in the car. The whole family is more relaxed and happier. I am only sorry I didn't know about cranial osteopathy earlier. I would recommend Aisha without hesitation to other parents and cannot thank her enough for her effective and gentle way of treating my daughter. More...

I have been teaching since 1983 but I took the new PTLLS qualification when I decided to transfer my skills to teaching holistic and beauty therapies.

I offer a wide variety of Reiki, massage and beauty therapy courses via national organisations such as London Therapists and Face the World. As well as teaching their accredited courses, I have written and achieved recognition, accreditation and insurance cover for courses of my own - including aromatherapy and ayurveda massage, as well as manicure, pedicure and facials courses with a 'spa' flavour.

These are marketed via London Therapists and my own website and are proving popular with students who want a more personal approach - and a brief, focussed course designed for adult students.

I teach Reiki to level 3 Shinpiden, or master-teacher and my courses include authentic Japanese techniques and cover the background to Japanese healing philosophy. I teach in the traditional way - an intensive course, with lots of practical work and assessment on the day.

None of my courses include case studies, written assignments or long, dreary theory modules done sitting in a classroom. Theory is done online in your own time, and you come to me for concentrated, practical training and lots of tips on setting up your own successful practice!
