About

I help people make sense of their thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and difficult life experiences, which cloud our thinking and drain us of our energy to enjoy life, now. I believe we all have different parts of ourselves, which want different things and this can lead us to feel confused and stuck, not to mention exhausted.

Q&As

I love seeing how much my clients grow in self-awareness and self-acceptance, over time, and they leave with an inner conviction that they didn't have when they started therapy. A rich inner resource they've built for themselves. Amazing!

I worked as a part of a team in a busy psychotherapy centre in London, before working for a major mental health charity as a manager and trainer. I love the flexibility and creativity I get from being self-employed.

I know that it can be daunting choosing a therapist. I'm a warm, friendly person with a ready sense of humour and I can put you at ease. I am respectful and always work with you, at your pace. We can meet for an initial session and you can decide if you think I can help and if you feel comfortable with me.

I provide online psychotherapy and counselling sessions which take place weekly, at the same day and time (to be mutually agreed). I have additional training in providing online therapy and have trained other professionals to be competent and effective online.

By working remotely, clients do not have to leave their home to attend the sessions.

Services

I can help you make sense of traumatic experiences and the mental and physical scars that remain with us, years later.

I can help you navigate the land you find yourself on following the death of a loved one, whether it is a recent loss or a loss from many years ago. And we also lose places, status, relationships, jobs, dreams, pets and parts of ourselves - let's acknowledge and grieve these losses, too, and free-up energy to look forwards again.

I can help you understand what has contributed towards your depression and anxiety and help you towards recovery and healing.

If you are undergoing IUI or IVF, I can help you 'unpack' the uncertainty, daunting procedures and expectant hope that is part of the journey.

Pre and post-natal anxiety and depression
Birth trauma and when the birth wasn't what you'd hoped for
Birth injuries and body changes which are hard to come to terms with - scars, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, weight gain and change in body shape
