Sarah was absolutely wonderful as our wedding photographer. She was very attentive to what we wanted, meeting with us and talking with us several times before the actual day to make sure everything went smoothly and we got the kinds of photos we wanted.
Once the day came, she made sure everything ran smoothly on the photography end so that we didn’t have to worry and could focus on enjoying our wedding day. She was very attentive and creative with her shots, giving us the perfect way to remember our special day. Sarah did my bridals and our wedding photography and did a spectacular job! First of all, she was so attentive to emails and quick to maintain contact with us. She was easy to work with and knew exactly what we wanted within our first conversation. We told her our vision for our wedding photos and what we wanted to capture, and she made sure to do just that! I love that she captures the little moments and details that other people might not notice. She has such an artistic eye, but also was able to capture the "classic" pictures that we wanted beautifully. She was able to give us the direction we needed with posing as well, (we are not the most photogenic people) and was able to get perfectly posed pictures, that looked natural, of course. Also, she takes additional pictures using antique cameras that gave us some amazing shots that had a softer feel to them. I've already had multiple compliments on the "antique style" photos which I think is very unique and cool. Overall, you can't go wrong with Sarah. We will continue to use her for all of our photography needs and she is the one and only photographer that we recommend to family and friends. More...

I have to just say that Sarah is amazing!! My son has been in the hospital since he was born, so she came in to take some family pictures for us. Being in the hospital, there is not many places to take photos, therefore, we had to be creative in our shots. The shoot itself was so relaxed and all we had to do was be ourselves with our little dude! She did such an amazing job capturing our little family and our routine in caring for his health. Our family had a wonderful experience shooting with Sarah. It was the most easy going, natural and fun experience. I actually forgot she was even around because Sarah encourages you to just be. There’s no odd posing, no positioning of the husband, no forcing a smile while saying “cheese”. My girls were just being themselves and Sarah captured them in the most magical way. ! Sarah is kindest, most talented photographer!
My fiancé and I felt so comfortable with her and she was able to capture our love and look beyond what we could of imagined! She is so patient and talented and really has a love for photography.. She goes above and beyond when working for her shot's and that speaks for itself in her work.
After our session was well over, Sarah got her stuff BACK out of her car take some STUNNING shots of my ring. She didn't have to do that, but it really meant a lot to my fiancé and I that she did. I recommend her to everyone and we DEFINATLEY will be using her again! Thank you so much Sarah! We will cherish these forever!!!

Let me start from when we were looking for a photographer to capture our Wedding Ceremony. I had reached out to a lot of different photographers, and the only one who got back to me promptly(meaning the next day) was Sarah!
Immediately, we knew she was going to be prompt with our needs! We met with her a few times, and each time was a delight! Sitting and drinking coffee while discussing our Wedding day, as well as our personal lives. She is very down to earth and professional!
When the Wedding day came around, she was there before the ceremony started to get photos of the scenery, our cake, and the guests as they waited for the ceremony to begin. She was very patient with our families and the craziness that comes with a wedding.
It took a month to get our photos, so we knew they would be phenomenal! There was so much color and she captured the absolute best parts of the ceremony, as well as the family/bridal party photos. We also received a "thank you" package with a few printed photos and a sweet note!
Sarah is seriously the best and we plan on recommending her to everyone forever!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Relax.
Seriously, stress shows in the photos. I like to get my subjects to loosen up and eventually forget that I'm there.

What do you love most about your job?
I get to do something different every day and I am absolutely thrilled about it. Whether it's meeting a newborn baby or traveling out to the desert for a story, every day brings something new and I can't get enough of it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have wanted to be a photographer since I was a kid, and along the way I've been everything from a camp counselor to a linguist. I figured that getting back to my original passion was a good move, and creating images that people love has proved me right.

Wedding Photojournalism
My philosophy is that your wedding should be as stress-free as possible. I tell your story from beginning to end through images that will evoke emotions and memories whenever you look at them from years to come.
Family Photo Essay
I have a different spin on family photos that involves getting to know your family over a few hours either in your home or out on an adventure. The camera practically disappears as I capture your family doing what you do best: being yourselves.
Family Mini Sessions
I understand that families are busy and sometimes life doesn't have room for a two-hour session. So, I do offer mini sessions of 20 and 40 minutes where we can still achieve fun, candid photos in a child-attention-span-friendly time.
Event Photography
Whether you are throwing a huge corporate launch, a gallery opening or a small birthday party, I have photographed events in private homes, rented out aquariums and vast gardens for families and businesses including Chase Bank, Volunteers of America and more.
Editorial Portraiture and Head Shots
Taking a picture is one thing, knowing how to position someone so that they look their best is something else entirely. I have years of experience posing and photographing people to illustrate written stories and for personal/corporate head shots.
