I reached out to Sarah in the final planning stages of my wedding. I was a ball of stress, trying my best to pin down final details and make sure my vision became a beautiful reality. After my first meeting with Sarah, I quickly realized that she needed to fully take the reins. She stepped in 100% - pinning down details with the caterer, finding amazing rental deals (if I remember correctly she saved us over $3,000) and she was great at keeping everything focused and efficient. She was consistently available, and made me feel super comfortable even when I thought I was asking the silliest question and made me feel totally validated even when I thought I was being especially finicky. I could not have imagined planning our wedding without Sarah Anna! We met with a list of experienced wedding planners but Sarah was by far the one for us. When we spoke with her about our vision for the wedding, she understood exactly what we were looking for. She also was excited about our farm-to-table theme and had lots of great ideas from the beginning!

We were married at the Ribault Club in February 2016. We hired Sarah in June of 2015 & chose to have her handle the entire wedding planning process. Sarah involved us as much as we wanted to be involved. There were many things that we (my mom, husband, dad & I) wanted a lot of involvement with (especially our design, food & music) and other things we did not care too much about. Sarah was wonderful at updating us weekly in the planning process. We met as frequently as we wanted to meet and she was available any time for questions as we had them. She was truly a valuable resource for any questions I had and was quick to respond. She coordinated appointments for dress fittings and even helped with things most wedding planners don't care to do.

Sarah has a host of connections in Jacksonville with wedding vendors. She was able to recommend vendors she had previously worked with which was super helpful to us. She took care of the behind the scenes work with the vendors and let us handle the fun stuff (cake tastings, color choices, etc). The vendors she recommended were not only incredibly talented but they were experienced. They knew how to pull off every detail without failure. Our band, photographer, videographer, florist, catering, rentals & lighting were all vendors Sarah recommended & loved.

Sarah ended up paying for herself time and time again. She saved us over $4,000 with our food by negotiating with the catering company to lower our per plate price. This is just one example of many where she was not afraid to negotiate a better price on our behalf. She worked alongside my mom & I to find cheaper solutions to make our dream wedding come true. I HIGHLY recommend that if price and sticking to a budget is concerning to you, Sarah is your girl. Our wedding would have been a whole lot more expensive if it was not for her!

Finally, my wedding week/day was completely stress-free for myself, my husband and our family. Sarah ensured that going into wedding week, we had every detail completed. She was adamant about us enjoying every minute leading up to our wedding. We were able to be with family & friends in town and not think about the big event that weekend.

Wedding day was just amazing. Sarah ensured all vendors arrived on time & completed set up. I did not even think about details that day because I trusted (and trust) her with each and every detail. I arrived at the venue right before the ceremony and was amazed at how beautiful everything was! Sarah had used the florists leftovers to decorate food and cake tables. She also built us a Farmer's Market using fresh, local produce as wedding favors (the display was GORGEOUS!). The wedding started without any problems. She guided my wedding party out and everyone was on the same page (from rehearsal the night before). I enjoyed every single minute of my wedding. Sarah ensured the pacing was on schedule and updated me throughout the night, warning me before the cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. I could NOT have had such a seamless wedding without her.

She even ensured Alex and I time to sit and eat away from our guests and packed us food to go and take to our hotel. She made sure our car was packed for our big send off and coordinated sending gifts to our home (so we came home to them after the honeymoon).

I could go on and on about Sarah & her heart. She is truly gifted when it comes to weddings. She is a forever friend & I can honestly say I would not have changed one thing about my wedding. :) More...

Sarah was my day of to just help keep everyone on task. But, she went above and beyond that. She checked in on me almost everyday for the two months before the wedding. The day of she was there at 8 in the morning and stayed until midnight doing everything and anything she could. She truly was a life saver and such a joy to work with. To say Sarah was heaven sent would be an understatement. This woman truly has all that it takes and more to be an event/wedding coordinator. Her energy and her heart are one of a kind. My friends, family, and bridal party ALL commented on how calm she was during our day of. She got her point across without being rude or demanding which made us so relaxed. Thinking back to our Wedding I can't believe we were considering doing everything on our own... Once we met Sarah we knew that we had nothing to worry and she was going to help make our day nothing more than perfect! Sarah was always there for suggestions, questions, concerns, and worries. We had a great experience working with Sarah for month of coordination! Looking back on our wedding day, she and her assistant, Jessica, truly delivered; and did it with such ease and professionalism! She made sure that our 'vision' came to life, and had everything under control. Sarah also has a wonderful relationship with several vendors in the area, so seeing her get to work her magic, while orchestrating the day of details with various vendors throughout the day - proved that she and her team have what it takes to make for an unforgettable event. As many brides probably encounter at some point in the planning process, I was definitely stressed/anxious at times - but Sarah was always calm and receptive, pointing out a more simplistic way of thinking and handling everything. She guided me through what the priorities should and shouldn't be at certain dates leading up to our day, and offered to take on several details for her and her team to facilitate. She really encourages her brides to enjoy the planning process and leave all the stress behind. Looking back at it all, I would encourage you to do the same as well. Brides tend to hold themselves accountable for every single detail, meanwhile, that is what your coordinator or planner is for. I think its important to point out that these coordinators/planners do this professionally weekend after weekend, and have the experience to take on everything that you, as the bride, should let go of (mentally and physically). Having known Sarah for many years and now using her planning service for my wedding I can say she was born to do this! She is very organized, informed, and responsive. My husband and I currently live in California, but we were having our wedding in Jacksonville. Planning a wedding is difficult, but being across the country and planning a wedding was even more difficult. Sarah was able to lead us in the right direction for great vendors and would answer all our questions within hours, but usually just a few minutes (even with the time difference). She was always available to contact and would immediately contact vendors if we had a question or service need. The day of the wedding would definitely have been way more stressful and busy had we not decided to use Sarah's services. She arrived mid-morning for our late afternoon/evening ceremony and reception. She immediately started to set things up, get my ideas on decorations, and coordinate with the vendors. She really helped me, my mom, and bridesmaids sit back and enjoy the day instead of being stressed with getting everything done. It was truly a blessing to have her there the day of the wedding for all the little questions and help us sort through some of the unknowns. She helped the catering staff, photographer, and DJ stay on schedule. Looking back it was naive and silly of me to think that we would have been able to do it by ourselves. I highly suggest you look into Sarah Anna Events to help coordinate and plan your wedding. With Sarah your planning experience and wedding day will exceed your expectations and most importantly you will be able to relax and be "in the moment" on the day of your wedding instead of running all over the place. One of the first things I did post-engagement was hire Sarah to be my wedding planner, and it the best decision I ever made! I wish there was 10 stars!!! Sarah Anna is our family and has planned both of my daughters weddings. I would never want to have a wedding without Sarah Anna. Her positive attitude is infectious and there is just never a problem ever that can't be solved.
