What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being a real photographer. With experience. The advent of camera phones means that more people can take more shots with the filters and apps available to them, but that doesn't make them a professional photographer.
Secondly, being a pro photographer means knowing how to work with people on a 1-2-1 basis and knowing how they will react to having a camera pointed at them.
Knowing how to make people feel relaxed, smile naturally and feed good about themselves is a skill we have developed through decades of experience.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For weddings, it is knowing what your customer really wants. Many wedding photographers pressure their clients into shots and scenes that they think will look good for their portfolio, not necessarily what the customer wants.
Our first question is always "Would you like help in understanding what you want from your wedding photos?"
What do you love most about your job?
Knowing that people will be able to treasure the photos we take for many years in the future. A good photograph will help someone recall memories of that moment forever. Also knowing that future generations may look at that photo and wonder what was happening when it was taken.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We only started at the point we knew we were ready to, experience-wise. Even then it was very scary. Knowing what we did on the day would be what our customers had forever.
That said, it was also knowing that we did have a good product and that people would get value for money from our business.
We would never look back. We love every minute of it and we hope that shows in our work.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are very friendly and easy to work with. Our package always includes a 'pre-wedding' shoot as we like to get to know you both well. You being relaxed with us makes for such nicer photos.
Your wedding day will be a whirlwind and our aim is to provide you with images that will bring back memories for a lifetime.
Whilst we have a guide price we're always more than willing to tailor something special for you as we know everyone has to work to a budget.

Not applicable. 99% of our work is weddings so we obviously have to be there on the day. Obviously we can provide the edited photos to our clients online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For weddings that can/did go ahead throughout the last few months, we were very aware of peoples' concerns about the virus. But then we some simple changes to where we stand to take photos and PPE, the weddings are largely unaffected.
We also realise the benefit of enlisting people in bubbles; for example, having someone who is in the bride's bubble to help tend to her dress etc, so we don't have to.
Everything is possible where there is a will.......
Wedding Photography
We offer both traditional and contemporary styles of photos. We both have differing styles of photography which make your wedding photos something very unique and special.
So many of our clients say how much they prefer natural, incidental photos and we both love to capture those special moments that make memories last your lifetime.
Pre-Wedding Photoshoot
We learned at the beginning that if you are relaxed on your wedding day, you will cherish your photos a lot more. Unless you are used to posing, most people don't like it and as such the photos don't look natural.
We always meet our clients before the wedding so we can all get to know each other.
You knowing how we will interact with you on the day will make you relaxed and enjoy being photographed.
