Quaint B&B in a restored Victorian style house. Breakfast has a good variety of pastries, fruits, and cereal. You can have eggs fried or scrambled. Rooms very in size. We hosted a baby shower for my sister here! It was the perfect set up for the 25 guests we had. The event coordinator, Alex, was extremely helpful! She made the entire process so easy and went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. She even arranged for substitutions on our menu so we could serve exactly what we wanted. My bridal shower was at Sara’s Inn and I couldn’t have asked for a cuter place! Alex was so awesome and patient with all my questions prior to the event and she even went above and beyond and substituted some of the meal options so I can have what I want. We opted for the brunch option, and everything was so good! In addition to all her help, she put cocktail tables outside and allowed us to use a larger table for the succulent bar we had for the guests. In my 30 years of world travel, this is now my favorite place to stay! I am originally from the Houston area, but I've been away for about 10 years. I needed to return for my high school reunion and decided to go with something other than a traditional hotel. What a great decision that was! A comfortable, clean bed, a nice , thoughtful breakfast, and caring folk. I stay at Sara's often when in Houston. This last week was tough due to the storm. Our stay was very nice until the next morning when we went down for breakfast. There was cold cereal and bagels but if we wanted something hot the older lady cooking said she was just one person and we would have to wait. I stayed for a week while attending a conference at the United Way Center. I am so glad I opted for something other than the usual chain hotel. The welcome and attention was personal and warm. The room was luxurious and well appointed. I didnt want for anything. The delicious breakfast was prepared and served by the most wonderful, pleasant, spry and witty 91 year old. You get your choice of the room, there is a different theme for every room. We got the floral room. The mansion has been renovated to still look like you have gone back in time, with each piece of furniture carefully picked, delicious breakfast and what a good night sleep!
