This weekend I had the pleasure of receiving an enchanting 90-minute therapeutic massage with Natalya sole owner of Santa Clarita Message. Her studio is clean, tranquil, comfortable and relaxing. The scent was amazing, you can tell she prides herself on her aromatherapy using the highest qualities of oils and candles. I’ve tried many neighborhood day spas in the past, but this could be my go-to spot. I decided to check out Natalya based on positive social media recommendations and since I have an ailing lower lumbar spine from an auto accident, serious knots, and a high stress job as an advertising executive, I was hoping to be taken care of. Natalya has a great reputation, a large active community of followers, people she personally connects with, plus she was rated #1 by FOX 11 as the best new massage place in Los Angeles. She is a professional and goes out of her way to ensure that you have a good experience at her studio. I could tell that she has many satisfied client. She is very dear, meticulous, thoughtful and caring. In addition, she is very competent, skilled and qualified with a total of 19 certifications; so, Natalya is a “real therapist” not just you’re an average masseuse. Natalya does all client in-take over the phone, not by an impersonal text or email, she really takes the time to get to know her clients, in terms of their bodies, ailments, medical issues, history, and their likes and dislikes. She has the ability to listen to your words and your body, and her healing strong hands can both provide a deep tissue massage, to the lightest touch for sensory relaxation. The actual massage experience was amazing, she started with a glorious paraffin wax treatment on my hands and feet, to de-stress and detoxify my body as a precursor to the massage. By adding hot stones, she helped relieve muscle tension and pain. I was completely relaxed and Natalya knew exactly what to do to treat each knotted problem area in my neck, shoulders, lower back and tightness in my legs. Seriously great massage. Natalya is a true professional healer who conveys both a kind and caring personality and pride in her business. Natalya employs many different healing modalities including deep tissue, traditional/swedish, somatic, stretching/thai, hot stones, and essential oils. The space is nice, clean and comfortable. I hadn't been sleeping well due to stress and body pain. Natalya was referred by a friend and I'm so grateful. Happened to be near her area last week on business so I made a point to book an appointment and I'm glad I did.Before the massage, on the table, Natalya did this type of evaluation sequence where the sheet is still on, and she's pressing and moving the body around and seeing how it responds.  When she got into the main sequencing with oils she knew exactly where my body needed more deep tissue work (back, neck, shoulders) and where it needed a lighter touch (legs). Usually I have to tell my massage therapist "Ouch! Too hard!" when they get to my legs because I had spent the first half of the massage saying, "Can you press harder please, I can't feel anything" when they're working on my back. Natalya didn't need any instruction like that, she is highly intuitive. I was impressed.I told her I'm a yogi and so she incorporated some leg and arm stretches into her sequencing and that was awesome. Slept like a baby when I got back home. Thanks Natalya! Natalya is an excellent masseuse. She made excellent recommendations. I slept so deeply through the massage that I did not even feel when she removed the paraffin from my hands and feet. She had to intentionally wake me when she completed the massage.Her studio is fully set up. Is it at all possible to get a message thru a massage?  Apparently so.  When I visited Santa Clarita Massage By Natalya in June, that is exactly what I got. Pampering and TLC was their priority.  I went in with great expectations and left with the biggest smile on my face.  There is nothing better than a deep tissue massage.  I have been really sore lately due to my workouts and this did the trick. Now anyone can take a bunch of classes, but few therapists have that "it" factor... that intuitive ability to read people and help them to heal. She has that. Her fees rightly reflect that also (she's not the bargain discount masseuse if that is what you are looking for). Pretty sure I pegged her as an INFJ if you are into Myers Briggs, which make great therapists. Don't let her sweetness mislead you into thinking she isn't sharp... she's sharp. She's also clever & gentle at inviting you to do upgrades or add more time, without being pushy. I've done deep tissue and so I asked her quite a bit... and she invests a lot of time into learning new techniques and modalities to stay sharp. I had a bit of trouble finding parking at first since she does this out of her apartment... but once I got inside she had her front room set up as a massage room and it was a lot more comfortable than most massage places.Some therapists make you feel "worked-on" but Natalya makes you feel cored for. I had a great massage by Natalya a couple of days ago. I am a busy mom of two toddlers and needed some time to care of myself. She immediately noticed all my tense, tight areas and did an amazing job at releasing the tension. I found her technique to be unique because she actually customizes and treats your issues instead doing the same old same massage. Found Natalya on Yelp and requested appointment via app. After exchanging numbers she was very thorough on asking what I wanted and explaining what services she offers. I opted for an hour and 15mins of deep tissue massage with paraffin wax on hand and feet. Then she gave me detail directions to her. Her studio was very cozy. The table was very comfortable with padded face support. Usually takes me a few massages with a therapist to be really relaxed and not guarded. But with Natalya I felt relaxed this very first time. Her massage was very therapeutic. She warms up into knots and trouble places slowly so there are little or no discomfort. Combined with aroma therapy and warm stones, I dozed off in comfort many times. Her touch was very mindful. The whole experience was wonderfull and relaxing. I made an appointment for my 18 year old son whom is a football player at a nearby college and currently 'nursing' a shoulder injury.
