I absolutely love working with Colleen. After my recent move I got some woven shades from her that totally transformed the space. She also helped me with color and flow. We live on the East Coast and recently bought a second home in Santa Barbara that needed major renovations. We knew that we could not manage the project from 3,000 miles away. Fortunately, one morning we wandered into the Santa Barbara Cabinet Company where we met Colleen and Tom. We told them what we were looking for and they helped us every step of the way. They gave us design and decorating advice and drew up plans that reflected and improved upon our ideas. In the end, we decided to update the entire condo - moving walls to create a better floor plan, installing hardwood floors throughout the condo and gutting the kitchen and bathrooms. Colleen and Tom are real pros - they managed all of the subcontractors and made the entire renovation look easy. We couldn't be happier. We look forward to relaxing in our condo and having dinner with our new friends, Colleen and Tom, whenever we visit Santa Barbara. More...

I had heard about Colleen's reputation as an expert in color. Since I had been unable to select satisfying interior wall colors for my home, I called her. Rarely do I take the time to fill out reviews but I'm so happy with the way things turned out I just had to say something.
I hired Colleen as a designer for my kitchen and living room remodel. I have to say that I put her through hoops in every aspect of my job and she passed with flying colors.. Colleen is someone who can be trusted to keep the homeowners vision in mind and is flexible enough to offer up suggestions that will compliment it. She is the type of person that will go the extra mile to make it right in every aspect of the job.. Another quality I enjoyed in Colleen was her connections in town locally. We met at an amazing granite store together who shes worked with in the past and together based on my cabinets, floor color and back-splash picked out the most gorgeous granite. I really can't say enough good things about Colleen but don't just take my word for it read the other reviews as well.

In 2011, Colleen Macey provided the window coverings for my new custom house in Santa Barbara. I spent 3 years building a 4,000 SF old mission style house and I was very particular about every detail. Colleen was a perfect fit for my needs. She carefully considered my input and she developed a very creative solution tailored to each room. Three years later, I continue to appreciate Colleen's designs. Happy as can be. When I met Colleen for the first time, I felt as if I had known her forever. I wanted to hang out with her all day. Then we got down to business and we clicked in that way as well.
