It took my family 1.5 hours to get our food the food was not good in anyway all the tables around us got their food eat and left ,it cost 52.71 in the end and I will tell everyone I know not to eat here it was the worst meal on a vacation I have ever had and my grand kids were with us for the vacation and , my wife and I wanted one adult meal and for that no good deed goes unpunished ,the service sucked the food sucked and I rate it at a minus 5 stars and will never enter the door again . I'm ashamed I picked this place and my grandkids had to suffer thru the whole ordeal and ruin the evening.

We stopped into Sandbar tonight for dinner. The restaurant was incredibly noisy, poorly lit, and HOT. I’m not sure if the a/c wasn’t working properly, or if it just wasn’t on, but it was over 80 degrees inside. Our server was excellent and attentive, but the food took an extremely long time, and many items were poorly/overly cooked. One member of our party was served a side salad with nasty browned lettuce. Two members of our party ordered steamed shrimp, which was overcooked and appeared to have been sitting for quite some time. My roasted potatoes were basically burnt, and the grilled chicken I ordered for my girls to split was so dry and overcooked I could barely cut it with a knife, much less chew it. I notified the waitress of the issue with the chicken, and she offered to have it remade or offered to make something else. At this point, I went with something quick and asked for a grilled cheese and hot dog instead of waiting for new chicken breast. The waitress returned shortly after and actually removed the chicken from our plate to take to the back because the cooks didn’t believe there was anything wrong with the chicken and wanted to see for themselves. When the ticket arrived, the less expensive original entree had been removed ($12), and we were charged for two, $8 kids meals ($16). Our meal was no where near worth the $70 it cost. Ordered baked oysters which were good. On My fried scallops the breading fell off . They weren’t that great and over priced .We had ordered a grill cheese sandwich for one of the kids it was burnt sent it back for a new one. Came here based off of a recommendation from a local resident. Our server was great , Candi I think was her name. Other than that it was awful. It was so hot in the building it wasn’t even comfortable. The hush puppies served with some of our dishes were absolutely inedible. Literally had to spit them out because they tasted and smelled like soapy water. One member of my family got crab cakes and they were disgusting as well. We went to the Sandbar at 4:45 pm on 5/26/2018. You would think that at this time of day, when the restaurant was not packed that the service would have been better.

We won't know how the service was because after waiting for 10 minutes to get waters (which I had to walk to the bar to get) then I had to get the hostess to find my server to get menu's.

When we finally got our menu's and selected 2 things on the menu to order, our server told us that they were out of those 2 things.....

We decided that this was not the place we needed to be - so we got up and left.

Probably will never recommend this place and will not be giving any good review on our facebook groups/ - OriginalRestaurantCritic/

We ordered a TON of food and all of the seafood was phenomenal! A friends chicken fettuccine was a bit dry she said but I did not try it so no loss of a star. Will absolutely be back! Been coming here for years, mainly on Fri/Sat for their prime rib, which was always excellent.

Tonight's food and customer service was incredible.
Incredibly terrible.

Manager was rude and did not care in the least. Waitress apologized and said she was looking for another job, as they just don't care anymore, even alienating locals.

There are much better places in PCB.
Never again for us.

Y'AAAALLLLLL let me tell you...this is the go to restaurant. Great menu variety, great service, sweet tea is hella good, and ya gotta try that Tuna Dip and the Snapper is divine for a first time snapper eater. Thanks for rocking my stay in PCB. Great things first...oysters are amazing! We 4 different types of baked oysters and a dozen raw oysters. The Alfredo was had by two of our children (teens), they described it as toilet water. I tasted it and it was not good, but I would not equate to toilet water. Another had shrimp and scallops and was sub par. The shrimp wasn’t great. The service was seriously lacking as my husband had to go find our waitress to get drink refills for all after waiting patiently for quite some time. We had a party of 5...not 10 More...

Wanted sea scallop basket ..ask to have it lightly breaded..server said if it was light it would be raw in middle ..what?? Had the Alfredo asked if it was same scallops ..she said they were..surprise they were not ..I told her that I got bay scallops..she told me sea scallops were not size appropriate..again what?? 2 large in shell mussels were also in Alfredo with about nickle size shrimp and pencil eraser bay scallops.
