Alright, alright, alright!! SAN REMO LASAGNAS are by far the best I had in a long time!! Sooo flavorous; The meat sauce is rich, seasoned to the perfection and the fresh pastas melt in your mouth like butter! Amazing experience!

After having past this place for years finally I tried it for a dinner date with my bf. With no reservation on a Friday night, they did their best to accommodate us. Service was friendly and sincere throughout. Great selection of wine, varying from £20 a bottle to £400. Something for everyone. We enjoyed both pasta and meat dishes. Every person I know, without exception, who has been to San Remo has raved about it. From the second you walk in and are greeted by the staff you know that you're in for a good evening and dinner. The restaurant has an authentic Italian feel and the warmth of the staff reminds you of a rustic, homely Italian restaurant. The main event is the food though: the "timballo" (generous serving of crab wrapped in smoked salmon) was out of this world and the robespierre just perfect. The diners around me had a range of dishes from the menu and upon asking, all were very pleased. One of them loved the ravioli so much she was asking the chef for the secret behind the recipe! The fact that the kitchen is visible from the restaurant means that you can see all the action that is happening there - the head chef (Antonio I believe) can put on quite the show! Can't wait to return back to San Remo — a must visit for anyone looking for a good Italian, some comfort food or a family dinner to remember. Next time you're there, try the Timballo! More...

I have been visiting San Remo for years. I love the food which is fresh and skilfully cooked, service is excellent and then the atmosphere. ...people enjoying good food in pleasant surroundings. I like the very slightly cramped environment, it makes for that local, cosy feel.
