You HAVE TO come to this place if you are planning a wedding!!! There are an incredible selection of flowers for good prices. The vendors that I talked to were all nice, though some of the stalls were closed. Make sure to explore inside, as there are more stalls than there appear from the outside. Such a lovely place to stroll around if you just want to be around flowers and pick up some for your home or it's also really handy for buying flowers if you need to make a bouquet for wedding or event. All the vendors we talked to were helpful and kind. I finally found time to come here yesterday and I loved it. The SF Flower Mart is a strip of small stores and a warehouse that sell cut flowers, plants, orchids, and all sorts of over things depending on the store you go into like ribbons, vases, terrariums, and holiday decor. I've been wanting to add some greenery to my apartment and was inspired by a Farmgirl Flowers snake plant gift I received over the holidays. Turns out they sell the same plants that Farmgirl Flowers delivers but obviously cheaper and you'll have to buy a vase separately, but that's fun! I ended up leaving with a gardenia plant and a couple of little air plants, but I'm coming back for some other goodies soon. More...

Best place for all your flower needs,  prices are very reasonable compared to a florist and the traffic is high so the flowers are always fresh, this complex is free to enter for public after 10AM and that's exactly when you want to be here for the best selection. Vendor after vendor (local and imported) has the most gorgeous and affordable flowers, there are also many stores in the complex that sell vases that are also very reasonable. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. One of my favorite places ever. I've been a few times but each time it gets better and better. Weekends tend to be the times I go and I've heard less vendors are open so I can't imagine what it looks like on a weekday. Based off my experiences, I feel like the best time to go on a Saturday is 8am-11am in terms of least crowed and most vendors open. Sundays start a little slower and overall have less vendors so 9am-11am is better.The variety of flowers is unmatched. You can find anything from simple house flowers, to wedding/party flowers, to supplies needed for florists.Parking can be really difficult if you don't have a vendor badge. Awesome place to just walk through and see beautiful flowers....I love flowers so I never actually just walk through but you get my point. Can't beat the prices that are offered at the flower mart. I would say if you want to give out a few bouquets to family or friends or a bae....this is the spot nice flowers without breaking the bank. If you go try to shoot for the street parking I know the area can be sketch at night but I've found it to be safe during the day. Look around before you buy some vendors have better quality flowers or prices, but where ever you buy from you will beat a florists price every time and if you put some effort into arranging the flowers yourself you get more bang for your buck and can wow who ever you gift the flowers. There are also vendors that sell vases, planters, and all things growing plants related. There was one vendor we saw that sold gift related items as well, such as bulk ribbon and wrapping paper. Aside from flowers, this place is great for succulents and indoor plants! I got really great deals here. $4 for a 2" pot of ivy and $5 for a 4" croton plant. I'll be back soon. Now that spring is around the corner I'm looking for new plants to add to my collection and there's a lot of varieties they offer here. Way cheaper than at a local plant nursery. They have a paid parking lot but it's usually easy to find parking on weekends around the block. Best to come before noon before some shops close for the day. More...

Wanted to make some decorations at home for a festival and decided to check out the Flower mart. I went around noon and was fearing that most shops will be closed as other reviewers had mentioned, however to  my relief 2-3 shops with a lot of variety of flowers were open. I was able to buy 2 dozen roses + 3 other kinds of flowers (a dozen each) for $35. The flowers were fresh and smelled so good. Parking was $1.5 for every 15 mins. A gem to see and be in. Beautiful vases too of all material.  This market is more about flower bouquets and arrangement than gardening. I'm more of the latter, was looking for lavender, verbena, mint...didn't find them...but succulents, roses and orchids of different kinds in full bloom I did. It's a sight to behold. This is a wholesale flower mart that does most of its business at the crack of dawn to the trade. By the time we regular folk are allowed in at 10 a. m. (and thank goodness we are!) many vendors have closed or sold out... but there is STILL a lot to be found here, even if you don't have a wholesale buyer badge. Come as early as you can in the morning, once it opens to the public. Of course there are no prices marked, these are wholesale vendors who have a rotating, fresh supply of flowers and don't have time to make signs for the tiny percentage of their sales that are direct to consumers. Houseplants are a great find here, really top-tier quality plants and a great variety that you can't find at Home Depot. It is a treasure to have a wholesale flower market here and one that is open to the public. I went here on a Friday morning with my sister-in-law to buy flowers for my Grandma's funeral. It is located 10 mintues from Daly City and is a straight shot from I-280 and near the freeway exit. The parking lot is outdoor and has plenty of spots. They charge $1.50 per 15 minutes. It was about 11am when I arrived and some vendors had already packed up their stalls and left for the day.The flowers were gorgeous. I'll never forget the different colors and types of flowers. We were looking for white flowers to add to the floral arrangement and we found just what we were looking for. We also grabbed some floral foam for extra floral arrangements. As for the prices, I thought it was reasonable to pay $39.04 (tax included) for 3 bouquets of white flowers. Unfortunately, the vendor did not accept American Express so I paid with a different card. However, the other vendors accepted American Express and after each swipe and signature we were on our way to other vendors looking for flowers to satisfy our floral needs.The only problem I have with this place is that there were two pay machines on site. The first pay machine wasn't working and there was already a line building up. Time was ticking. My sister-in-law knew she had to pay $3.00 at the broken machine but it wouldn't read my debit card. So the security guard told her to use the other machine and when they both walked over there, she was charged another $1.50. It was sort of a bummer to pay an extra $1.50 for something that should've worked the first time. Perhaps they need to adjust their parking rates or have it free after a certain time. Overall, it was a sunny beautiful day and I got to see beautiful flowers and helped arranged a floral arrangement Grandma would be happy with. Don't waste money going to a florist! The San Francisco Flower Mart has many wholesale vendors and you will be impressed by the prices. I was on a mission to put together a few arrangements for our condo and a bridal bouquet. The SF Flower Mart did not disappoint! I bought 6 full bouquets of various flowers and greenery for $58. SF Flower Mart is AMAZING.I work in Soma and walked over on a recent weekday to buy myself some flowers. Wow. Even though half of the vendors were closed, there was still plenty to choose from and the flowers were beautiful! The prices are super affordable - I was surprised by how little I spent. I recommend coming at 10am for non-cardholder.  I got to the Flower Mart around 11:30 am on a Sat and most venues were already closed.  However, I was able to bargained a dozen of garden roses for $9 and greenery $4.  Venues are operated by grumpy old men...you've been warned! *Check hours and pricing for badge vs. non-badge customers.* I was helping with a pre-wedding party and needed lots of cut flowers. This place is mecca. Vendor after vendor had the most gorgeous flowers for reasonable prices. Only trouble was I didn't have a code when I tried to purchase! Luckily another shopper let me use hers, but they definitely wouldn't have sold to me if I didn't have one (there are hours that are open to the public, but I needed to go super early).
