My project with San Diego Master Painting was replacing 26' of an old, worn out and termite eaten wooden fence. The work crew, Roberto and Samuel accomplished the task in a day. They were efficient and professional and did a first class job of removal of the old fence, removal and reinstalling of the metal posts and adding a good coat of paint to the boards. The job I needed accomplished was a relatively simple job. A 7’ board on my 2nd story fascia needed replacing as well as painting it. I was referred to Company #1 who had a close relationship with the gutter company that was going to replace all of the gutter and downspouts along the side of my house. However, after waiting close to 8 weeks to company #1 promising to work me in their schedule week by week by…. I was directed to San Diego Master Painting by another construction contractor. From Day 1 SD Master Painting showed interest in doing the job and made time to come and assess the job the next day (at the time they promised). Renberto gave me a very reasonable estimate, and as the job was relatively small, a date 6 days later. The worker showed up on time and was very professional and efficient in doing the job. The finished job looks excellent and the work area was spotless when completed. Every aspect of this job was treated like a big job. All interactions and work were performed in a very professional manner. I hired San Diego Master Painting to paint the exterior of my home, including doors, decorative woodwork, and a pool patio. I’m so glad I did; Renberto and his team were exceptional through all phases of the project. They arrived on time every day, were professional and courteous, and absolutely transformed our house. Even on unexpected rainy days, they either found something to do to keep the project on track or called early to let me know they’d be back the next day. Our neighbors were impressed with their work, too. Many would stop, as they walked by, to take a picture of Renberto’s sign for their own future painting projects. We were introduced to Renberto about 8 years ago when we were converting our garage to an Airbnb. He installed a kitchenette, a full bathroom, redid the floor, built steps, painted the interior, and did light electrical like changing out a light switch and installing a ceiling fan. His work was excellent, and we noticed he had a good eye for proportion and the little details. He continued to do odd jobs for us like installing a sliding glass door with a new opening which had to be re-stucco-ed, and building a landing for it. Then he repainted the inside of our home. Then when we were ready to re-do our kitchen, he demolished the old one, and installed new cabinets and appliances. It turned out beautifully. It has been our pleasure to watch his work and skills grow over the years. We know his business name is all about painting, but weI would say he’s more of a general contractor at this point, and his work borders on master craftsman. He really can do pretty much anything, and the result is always excellent. As mentioned, he has a good eye, and he’s helpful when it comes to decision making, although he never forces his opinion on anyone. He’s super easy-going, and does well with any critical feedback. He is also a great communicator, and offers up crucial information as needed. We have been using Renberto for about 9 years now. The best part about him and his crew? When a project is finished, they leave the area completely clean. There is no mess, or extraneous materials left lying around. He takes care of everything, and he’s an absolute pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking to do anything from a whole house remodel right down to hanging a painting on the wall. More...
