I had lunch there today with my husband and a friend. The food was excellent - gorgeous local mutton and a large variety of really fresh and tasty salads. Save space for a dessert, as they also do lovely cakes. Will be back again as soon as we can make it back to Bath. More...

Love this place. Whenever I'm in Bath I make sure I start with a bloody good coffee at Sam's so I am really excited they are opening in Frome where I live!

Wonderful staff, strong coffee and fab cakes. Very community centred place. Be warned, the toilet is up a flight of steep stairs and it is small inside so would be hard to get a wheelchair inside. Gets busy but just adds to the atmosphere and there is a takeaway window too if it's full inside! More...

Amazing food freshly prepared on site.
Stop for a coffee at the hatch in the morning or relax and enjoy breakfast or lunch - Walcot Street is a great place to explore in Bath.
The staff make this place extra special, it's always busy but they offer friendly and personal service.
I've yet to try dinner, but I'm sure it will not disappoint.

What a gem of a place this is. Fantastic meals with a real focus on the ingredients. The staff are lovely and the kitchen is open, so there's even an opportunity to thank the chefs - and you'll want to!

We had our best meal in Bath at Sam's Kitchen. Our waitress chatted with us as we ordered about our trip and the area. We had three small plates, which were all incredibly delicious. We left wishing that we were locals so we could go here often. More...

My wife and I hired Sam's Kitchen for our west country wedding in August 2015.
They are simply BRILLIANT!!!!
Sam and his team produced our dream banquet and were amazing to work with.
It was great fun to work with someone so passionate about food, so creative and so dedicated to conjuring up the most incredible menu for our big day. Plus, it's a very local business.
It wasn't just food they brought to the table, it was imagination and experience. Experience in both meanings of the word. We had open fire pits cooking flat breads. Live cocktails. Indian food served in banquet style with multiple platters laid out across our trestle tables. Pasties and cider served on wooden carts. All of this being vegan as well. 10/10!
The food is healthy and fresh, local and organic, fun and extremely good quality.
The staff were brilliant.
We also learnt after the wedding that the oven hired in from a local supplier had broken down during the day. Sam had apparently travelled to his local restaurant to finish the cooking there. We had no clue! Amazing!

A very nice brunch/lunch place in a relaxed environment. It's often busy, so prepare to wait a little while for a table.

GREAT food, decent space, weird service, ok music. Many locals rave about it. The baking is original / unique which stands out even in Bath's many awesome indi coffee shops. Food is mostly salads and sandwiches, also very good. Staff make you wait, then won't let you pay so you have to wait again when you want to leave. Music is rock. More...
