SAMI is an acronym for Self-defence and Martial-arts Institute.
This club is the Belfast branch of Peter Weckaufs SAMI Combat Systems/SAMI International Vienna. Taught here are Stick fighting, Knife Fighting and Panantukan Filipino boxing which are systems geared toward self defence and maximum efficiency in combat in all areas which roots come from the Philippines.

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and passing on martial arts and self defence knowledge for the greater good in order to help them build confidence, interact with other people and develop skills to protect themselves from violence if needed
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for training the Filipino martial arts and silat is what inspired me to start my own business in teaching it.
