I hired Sam to take pictures at my husband’s medical school graduation party. The photos were AMAZING!! He literally got photos of all the guests! Great posed shots as well as beautiful candids that captured the celebration! Sam was a pleasure to work with! My guests loved him! He took great pictures with minimal effort (i.e. not too many directions about poses… just took great shots of our guests; also graciously handled guests asking for mini photoshoots). I was scrambling to look for a last minute photographer for my engagement party and I came across Sam's website. He responded quickly, was priced very reasonably, showed up eager and early. He managed to get multiple good photos of all 100 guests during the course of the two hour party. He had all 150 photos to me in two days which was the quickest turnaround I have ever seen. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Make sure you're comfortable with whom your shooting and have articulated what you want. If you don't like the person your shooting with or you're not sure they get what you want its going to show on your face.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How are you going to use your photos? Theres a big difference between a portrait thats going to hang over your mantle and a headshot you're going to try to book a series regular role from.

Meeting new and interesting people and being inspired by their hustle and drive...
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was shooting shots of my actor friends for fun and they started saying I should do it professionally. I was like get paid to take photos??? Too good to be true... That was back in 2012 and I'm still loving it!
Why should our clients choose you?
Honestly choose me if you like my work and want to work with me. I'm told Im pretty easy to work with but if we don't jive for some reason move on. I won't take it personally. The fact is you have to be comfortable with with the person who's shooting you.
