I cannot recommend Sam highly enough. The photos he took of our wedding were absolutely phenomenal; I can’t stop looking through them! The group and staged photos are beautiful but he made it look effortless and many of the other images I had no idea he was taking, he blended in so well. One of our guests commented that he couldn’t understand what Sam was photographing at one point but now he’s seen the image it’s beautiful and he would never have thought to take it himself. We had the lovely Sam as our photographer for our wedding in June and we couldn't have wished for anyone better!!! He was friendly and so helpful from the moment we met him at the Exeter wedding fair, through to a practice shoot we had at the venue and on our big day. We didn't want everything really posed and Sam did an amazing job at capturing plenty of natural shots without even knowing he was there. I cannot recommend Sam highly enough. We got engaged in February and planned our wedding in just under 6 months. Most people told us we would struggle to get everything booked but we were thrilled that Sam had this 1 weekend free. He was an absolute hero on the day. the amount of time and effort that he put in was incredible - from the early morning make up, through the ceremony and long into evening after party, Sam captured every moment perfectly. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Is working and listening to the client. A relaxed pressure free environment reflects in the images. A friendly approach and if required working from a distance relaxes the subject and the most natural feel is expressed in the image.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Their expectations - of which many would 'just like a photograph' which is great but there is always an angle, a time, a concept that can be found which really reflects the feeling of the subject.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the camera - I love what I do and my passion is creating great images. I've made my hobby my job and it reflects in the relationships I build with every new shoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration was my admiration for the camera. From the moment I shot my first wedding for a friend I knew what I wanted to do.

My reputation, built up over many years is flawless. I've never advertised and have worked purely on recommendation. I have experience in many venues across the southwest and countless happy wedding parties. The comfort that you have when booking me is that I am the person who will turn up.
