Went in for lunch and got the warm roast beef hoagie with spinach and fontina cheese. It was excellent!!! Good value too. It wasn't very crowded so I hope more people will come in and support the place. Recommended

Visited today for lunch and my Caprese sandwich didn't disappoint! The others in my party had the Italiano and the Parmigiana and all were wonderful - Lots of freshly sliced deli meat, good, high-quality cheese, good bread, and excellent pesto. The sandwiches themselves are with 5 stars. The reason for four stars rather the than five overall was because of the lack of side dishes or extras available to go with my sandwich. There was a small bowl of chickpea salad and one other thing available as a side but that was it, and the addition of a side was expensive. A tiny bag of chips and a drink was $1.50 extra on top of the cost of the sandwich. The available drinks with that combo were basic canned soda or a bottle of water. In my opinion, an $11 or $12 sandwich should include chips, at the very least. (... And not those tiny bags... Buy in bulk and give a decent portion!!)The sandwiches are outstanding, but the sides and drinks are lackluster. I expected more, but I will return to see what improvements are made. They're adding soup in 1/2019, so we'll see what they come up with and how much it costs. I hope the downtown business community supports this business. However, in order to serve the lunch crowd, they'll need several people behind the counter making sandwiches very quickly or else the lunch crowd won't sustain this business. We were the only 3 people in the restaurant and it took a full 10 minutes to get our sandwiches. Few people with 60 minutes for lunch or less will wait that long for a sandwich more than once in a while.All in all, the food was excellent. I will be back and I hope this business continues to do well, as I believe it has a lot of potential! More...

We visited this deli on Monday of this week on our way home to Dayton Ohio and I bought quite a bit of product, including 2 of the Romano sandwiches mentioned in another review. Â The sandwiches were most delicious! Â The owner/chef is such a nice guy and I truly hope he is most successful in this endeavor. Â The only reason I didn't give the business 5 stars is because it is quite small, but what he has (in terms of Italian product and food choices) is great and reasonably priced. I went in looking for fresh sausages but didn't find any. Â But I did find some unique Italian products, at a reasonable price, and that are not readily available in our area, so I left a happy shopper. Â With time as the business grows I would expect to find many more choices. Â The place is very clean and the antique murals on the back wall are fantastic. Â The restoration work was so well done. Â As our economy continues to improve my fondest hope is that this independent business improves. Â Give it a try - you won't be disappointed! More...

Everything was delicious. We both had the monthly special, the Romano. Layered with thinly sliced pork belly and Romano cheese on a ciabatta bun that was to DIE for! ! It was toasted to perfection. What’s your signature dish?
It is hard to nail down one dish that would be "signature". However while working in fine dining I made a beef cheek risotto with confit baby tomatoes and a horseradish pesto that became a staple of the menu and a guest favorite.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
The perfect menu is all about listening. Finding what they truly love and executing it perfectly is our mission.
What do you love most about your job?
Food has been my passion for as long as I can remember. The instant gratification you get from someone who falls in love with what they are eating is the best feeling in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've wanted to own an Italian style market for a long time now. The catering side gives me an outlet to deliver my passion for food to anyone.
