Also, Jennifer was a joy to work with. She helped me nail down all the details and times without a single hitch. Plus, we live out of town so we had to orchestrate all of this via email. Jennifer at Salt Cake City is just AMAZING!! I have ordered my cakes from her for years. As my son has gone through different phases in his life, Jennifer has made different cakes. She has made a Spiderman cake, a Batman/Superman cake, a Star Wars cake, and an Aquaman cake. The best cake was a totally eatable Dragon cake. Her cakes are not only beautiful but delicious! I will not purchase my cakes from anyone else. I read somewhere that Jennifer's cakes are decadent, delicious, delightful, & delectable, and I totally agree! Each of Jennifer's cakes are true masterpieces. Her attention to detail, patience, flexibility, kindness & the love she puts into each cake is so very evident. Jennifer made an Avengers cake for my son in laws birthday. It was amazing all around, she is so talented. One tier was red velvet, the other was carrot cake. They both were moist and delicious. First I should say that our wedding cake was very important to me. I wanted it to be a beautiful and delicious centerpiece at our wedding. Thanks to Jenn it was both! Unlike some other wedding bakeries around town, Jenn had an extensive list of cake flavors and combinations. We were able to serve six different flavors at our wedding, which was really fun. She sat down with us to review our options and provided yummy cupcake samples of six different flavors. She also corresponded with me over email as I changed my mind again and again. My cake was exactly how I wanted it and more! We had a little over 70 people at my son's birthday party, and everyone was able to get a slice of cake, and there was still tons left over. Jennifer was an absolute doll to work with. My husband and I decided to do a small wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding. I think the taste testing was the hardest part because she has SO many delicious flavors to choose from. We narrowed it down to 4 cupcake flavors and she helped us come up with how many to order. Her set up before the ceremony looked amazing. We were all over the place at our wedding and we didn’t get to have any of the cupcakes. Luckily my mother in law had some saved and after 10days from the wedding, they were still moist and just as delicious!!

I LOVE Salt Cake City! Jennifer is absolutely amazing! I found her on Google and her reviews were outstanding so I contacted her right away to make my wedding cake and groom's cake. She is quick with communication and really understood what a budget is. We had such a fun time going back and forth with ideas and I felt that she just got me. Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with! She has so many different flavors and every single one we tried was delicious! We got so many compliments on the cake and cupcakes. We did a three tier cake and every tier was a different flavor. She also did our groomscake for the rehearsal dinner and that was a big hit! SO GOOD! Jennifer is amazing. Super easy to communicate with (I don't actually think we spoke on the phone at all... we met once then the rest of our correspondences were through email), reasonably priced, makes DELICIOUS and beautiful cakes! We ordered enough cupcakes for 85 people, 60 came, and (in addition to the 24 vegan cupcakes we purchased through a different vendor) ALL the cupcakes were gone in a matter of minutes. Everyone came up to us and complemented how delicious they were! If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would! Jennifer is an absolute delight to work with, and her cakes look and taste AMAZING! I live in another state so coordinating a wedding from afar was a bit tough, but Jennifer was SO flexible and willing to help answer all of the random ideas I had. She responds very quickly, is extremely creative, and even let us do a tasting a week before the wedding since it was the only time I was in SLC.
I had sent Jennifer a picture of a little campfire toy I was hoping she could reproduce in cake form for our topper, and she went above and beyond. I let Jennifer have a little freedom in creating our topper for our cake, and she went above and beyond what I could imagine. She also included a little nod to our honeymoon on the cake, with mountains around the side of the cake and direction signs to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone.
We also got mini cupcakes from Jennifer and they were a HIT. We had so many compliments on how delicious each flavor was (we got Smores, Spice cake, and Mexican Chocolate Chip). Her prices are also great compared to other bakers in the area.

I randomly stumbled across Salt Cake City when I was searching last minute for a birthday cake. I emailed Jennifer almost a week before the birthday party and she was able to make this cake for us and it was amazing. She was able to make the exact cake we wanted and was really great about marking sure communication was clear. The cake turned out so cute and tasted amazing! I had a Harry Potter wedding and so my cake of course had to be Harry Potter. I had an inspiration photo from the internet and just wanted to make some tweaks to it. We wanted a simple, elegant cake to go with a vintage-style wedding, with real flowers on it to match my bouquet. Not only did it exceed our expectations, but it tasted AMAZING. We got a "Snow White" flavored cake with Coconut Buttercream frosting/filling. The flavors were delicious and the coconut was subtle - very gourmet, nice and moist.
